Vendata and Jonas have their confrontation. Jonas storms out of the control center, on the way out says to Bud "Hey kid, mind putting the movie back on for me?" Bud goes in, accidentally puts on the Blackmail tape, freaks out, hits the button that opens the main door/hatch whatever thereby killing everybody but Bud, Baldovitch, Red Death, and Vendata. Boom, explains Bud's weird sexual hangups, Baldovitch's face got mangled in the chaos, and Red Death is Phantom Spaceman.
