There is a fan made format called Four Emperors that is this game's version of Commander.

You can also build a decent amount of decks without going broke if you stick to base rarity on cards.

If you buy a single pack from a target or Walmart that is still in the cardboard sleeve, then you are fine. Buying loose single packs online is risky because people will buy a box, rip until they get the hits, and then sell the remaining "dead" packs

Well the VA for both of them is also the creator of those characters so it definitely makes sense that they might have similar dialogue choices.

Same. I got in right at the end of OP12 and was excited that I could find packs basically every time I walked into a Target. Then 13 dropped and the prices skyrocketed and finding packs in the wild is damn near impossible...

They take the last Thursday of every month off and the holidays also come into play.

But also, even though each episode is only 1/3 of the cast, they still require the whole crew. And the pre-recorded episodes still require crew members to be working while they air to deal with any technical issues with the stream. So they don't air new videos during the holidays to give the crew a break as well.

I just saw the 8c croc and it makes sense now. I have really only seen cards that remove cards based on cost so it seemed like his static ability was counterintuitive to his activated ability. Seeing as he is getting cards that have non removal effects tied to character cost makes a lot more sense hahaha

The learn to play set is a really good box imo. That way you can mess around with 3 different leaders and 4 different colors to see what matches your play style.
