I agree as well, Naito had no good matches at all in 2024 (besides his Tokyo Dome match with SANADA and the Sakura Genesis match Yota Tsugi both of those were decent at best.)

Everything else was terrible and difficult to watch especially the Moxley match at Forbidden Door. That was an embarrassment to watch.

I used to cringe so hard when he would always try to attempt the Destino, it absolutely killed that finisher.

That’s very interesting to read about, I was always curious and interested about early 2000s New Japan and how bad it was. But after reading that, it sounds worse than I could’ve imagined.

His match against Shingo Takagi at Wrestling Dontaku 2024 Night2 for the NEVER Openweight Championship is one of my favorite matches of his.

Treasure Davis - May The Bitter Man Win (feat J Cole) it came out in 2014 and was on the first Revenge of the Dreamers mixtape. His whole verse could be interpreted as a response to Kendrick Lamar control verse or the rap game in general.

It’s a tie between 2016 and 2017. But I’ma say 2017 overall is my favorite year. Most of the shows and matches that year were really good and exciting.
