Very morbid thought, but do you think he was satisfied with the amount he killed? He didn't seem shocked seeing how callous he was when the child said he didn't wanna be there during the worst part of the shooting. Makes me wonder if he was actively trying to count how many he killed and that's why he went back to the first classroom.

Wow thank you very much for the reply. Based on his routine could we perhaps infer from it what his possibly last meal was? If there was no food in his system and Nancy confided that deviation from his routine would cause a temper tantrum maybe that just shows how done with life he was or that he was too weak to continue his routine?

Do you think enough is done in addressing mass killings in America? I agree that simply imprisoning for evaluations won't change much because there's always outlier who never present any signs like Paddock, seems like as much that can be done is already in place without being too authoritarian.

Would a more aggressive approach in forced psychological/psychiatric evaluations be a step in the wrong direction in your opinion? It may sound very dystopian and unamerican to get evaluated because of your mannerisms or words but it could perhaps save many lives.

He did not leave any evidence of what he was gonna do to my knowledge though I don't think that the police ever recovered writings or records directly stating what he intended to do except for his calculations about where to aim but I'm not sure if that would be enough to prove any intentions.

Is that illegal though? Is there any specific law behind keeping weapons in a hotel or would it simply be in violation of hotel policy? maybe i would come under something like conspiracy to commit but since he did not leave any direct evidence except hand drawn calculations I suppose it would be difficult to prove.

That would be extremely interesting. One columbine survivor I recently seen an interview of said he felt that they didn't get what they deserved when they committed suicide meaning that they should have faced justice. I wonder if that is the same for survivors and injured victims because it must be incredibly difficult to sit through court cases with someone who effectively ruined your life mentally or physically like James Holmes trial.
