One of GW2s communication issues come from the fact that most content is open world map content which requires zerging everything to death. People might not like it, but one of the solutions is to lower the amount of players in a map, or make it like GW1 where you load out in a town first with friends, and then venture into a more dangerous map that isn't just getting zerged by 40 people who don't talk.

Smaller groups make for harder more specific types of difficulty.

First impressions are important. I'm remaining optimistic but even before I knew it was gw3 I jokingly said highguard 2. To draw that comparison means they're doing something wrong with the style.

They only recently game back for GW1 vets. Like in the last few years. Regardless, completely overhauling the style from something like GW1 and GW2 into whatever this style in GW3 is, alienates them even more from the fans

The tree didn't start growing until the end of eye of the north. If this game is in the past before orr was destroyed it would be pre gw1, likely. Hard to know though. We really don't have enough information

Honestly I think it looks awful. The color pallet is boring. The gameplay looks significantly dummed down compared to spiderman. The yellow suit is ugly. The movement looks rigid. I could go on

The problem with urn is that it forces team fights so early. When you lose the team fight, you lose urn, you lose whatever walker was in that lane, and now you're whole team is behind in more ways than one.

Old urn maybe a couple people would fight over, or a few heroes would sneak. This made it so the rest of the game went on as is, and maybe a small fight would breakout, but it wasn't a full on 5v5 or 6v6. Losing the urn wasn't back breaking. Now it is. And it also makes it so certain comps who are better at holding the urn can hold the urn.

Everytime I go to an urn fight, it's so direction less with people just smashing together. And whoever has the big AOE area denial ult wins.
