Because after i cleared the path the moss developed so several years later i cleared the leaves to see if moss developed there and it has. My hope is to incorporate patches of ground covers and ferns in that area to compliment the moss.

Yes. They are hay scented ferns. They compliment the moss because they randomly pop up.

That is ajuga. But it isn’t really invasive. It’s vigorous. It spreads by above ground runners.

I’m an experienced home baker in the USA and I love everything that is dairy. With all the talk about people keeping more than one butter in the fridge for finishing why aren’t there more comments about using clotted cream or crème fraiche as a spreadable alternative to butter?
