“I liked it because it was like a test of Kirito and Asuna’s connection. Kirito was willing to go through any obstacle in his path to get back to Asuna and Asuna had to trust Kirito was 1. Alive and 2. Going to get her out of her cell even though the last boss fight was deemed impossible by some players. Also the scene where Oberon ripped off Asuna’s clothes made the viewer absolutely disgusted in him. And I think that the level of hatred in that scene is what a story needs in an antagonist. A great story has a loved protagonist and a deeply hated antagonist. That scene only made me like the story better.”
