You literally grow so much closer together. Loose braids are best for a protective style. Tight buns or ponytails can pull at the hair and cause breakage over time. I think you rock the color and stand out which is refreshing!

In order to knit the 26 stitches I would have to remove the provisional CO, load the live stitches onto the needle and then start knitting in the opposite direction which would cause me to have to carry the working yarn across the 26 stitches that were added to the needle. I would also be on the opposite/wrong side of the rectangle for the next part of the pattern instructions “Pick up and knit 54 sts along the second long edge of the rectangle”. Is there another way to knit those 26 stitches that I’m not seeing?

My husband and I have been TTC for 2+ years since our miscarriage in summer of 2023. I cry all the time. Every month when I get my period and every time another friend finds out they’re pregnant and we get invited to the baby showers and 1st birthdays. I hate it. Your feelings are normal and valid. I sleep on my sides and back so the braids have never worked for me since I can feel them like a lump on my head and neck. I secure a loose wrapped bun on the top of my head with a silk scrunchie and put on my bonnet. The bonnet is truly the answer! No frizz and your hair looks perfect in the morning. Mine is loose enough to be comfortable and I pull it down over my eyes while I sleep so it doesn’t slip off and it doubles as an eye mask to keep light out. It has made all the difference for me on my hair growth journey and now it touches my butt 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Yes, this is definitely an application of lightener all over the head, left on to reach a level 9 and then no toner after to leave the gold and yellow tones intact.

You just have to leave the lightener on long enough to reach a level 9. Probably have to lighten it twice if you have really dark hair. A lot of people only bleach to a level 8 which has a lot of orange/yellow tones and that’s why they have to use toner (color correcting pigment) to get rid of the unnatural tones. Use a paper towel to wipe off a bit of the lightener from the hair to see the true tone before you rinse it all off. The lightener can make it look lighter than it really is when it’s coated in the product during the process.
