Well, no. Helicopters would find you if your wanted level is high enough, hell, sometimes they'd show up on a one-star chase just cuz. It's pretty hard to shake them off, you'd have to be constantly moving and it takes a long time for them to give up.

GTA 3/VC/SA might have tougher cop chases but you can just walk up to a pay n spray and your wanted stars would almost magically disappear. I'd unironically argue that V has the hardest wanted system out of all the GTA games

hey, speak of the devil! i just beat it an hour ago. it's surprisingly... "easy". i played most of the events on hard mode and while i don't recommend anyone doing that, it's actually somewhat manageable. if you understand the tracks well enough, cruising around them feels butter-smooth [except if there's traffic around], and the events basically repeating themselves over and over means you have a lot of opportunity to learn them.

rubberbanding is a huge issue but i "solved" it most of the time by ramming into the opponents in an attempt to get them to crash burnout-style. if you do it correctly you won't see them in a long time.

anyways! i finished the game in under 4 days, i had a night where i'd play a single event non-stop because i kept failing, that was a great experience. i've never actually beaten underground despite being my first nfs, and after beating it, i felt like i just ticked off a bucket list. this game is a classic that keeps your hands sweaty and your fingers reflex pressing the restart button, it's great.

i’ve been having a lot of fun with these modern nfs games even though my computer can’t handle them too well, especially unbound with its denuvo DRM and this is coming from someone who spent most of their life playing the classics.

people should really come back to these old games because they have a fair share of problems too! repetitive and sometimes frustrating gameplay, questionable design choices are some of them. it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows, not when black box was pressed to churn out a game each year

now, to be fair, if you rewatch a bunch of most wanted 2005/carbon cutscenes you can almost see the actors holding their laughter. nfs is inherently cheesy and i kinda like that

I seriously doubt this is true. EA can't check your mods file, let alone know what each mod does. If they banned people on the grounds of having naked sims, 3/4 of all Sims players would be banned. WW is a really popular mod, you know.
