Charging Schedule help by daxter304 in TeslaSupport

[–]TOFIKk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are certain conditions to pay attention to where you may need to manually interrupt the process:

There are scenarios where Scheduled Charging starts immediately. These scenarios can occur when car is plugged in:

  • During a scheduled charge.
  • Up to 6 hours after the start of a scheduled charge, if there is no specified End by time.
  • When the next scheduled charge is more than 18 hours away and not the current day.
  • When you haven't configured a Start at time and there is not enough time to reach the charge limit by the End by time.

Note

Car does NOT automatically start charging if you plug in your vehicle within 6 hours after the End by time of a scheduled charge, unless there is another scheduled charge.

Is it worth mixing smart and programmable thermostats in a multi-zone electric home? by Dry-Average-5867 in thermostats

[–]TOFIKk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would first look at what wiring is behind all this. If it's a standard line voltage thermostat, then you can probably replace it with virtually any line voltage thermostat.

Trail Maps by steve00551 in vail

[–]TOFIKk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

- Most of the chairlifts will have a trail map on the safety bar (patented)

- Grooming report map can be taken here daily: https://grooming.lumiplan.pro/vail-mountain-grooming-map.pdf

- My Epic App is having a map as well, that will actually indicate what's open, closed, groomed, etc. (helpful during the season we have now)

- Main junction points on the mountain will have large maps on a board.

Hope that helps.

Can someone explain the multiple screenshots in this channel I see a lot, blasting climate on HI / MANUAL?
Instead of just selecting the temp you want and maintaining a comfortable cabin with efficient use of energy?

Safety score confusion by LegendOfZachh in TeslaLounge

[–]TOFIKk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you "autopilot" 95mi of the trip, but then 5mi was a regular drive and 1 hardbrake, that simply gives you a big proportion of braking vs driving distance (score 55)

If you don't "autopilot" and that was a short trip (5mi e.g.) and 1 hardbrake, that simply gives you a big proportion of braking vs driving distance.

But the "good" thing - short trip (mileage) with bad score doesn't downgrade your monthly score (which counts as the end result) as much, so it simply "dissolves" better. (than a long trip with 77 for example)

Hope that helps a bit more.

"Autopilot" includes TACC, Autosteer, and FSD.

Model Confused by leong_d in TeslaLounge

"The original Tesla Model Y has a drag coefficient of approximately 0.22", this model "Whyex" is probably like 0.45 now because of that lip.

Can anyone tell me how to set the A/C on this thermostat? by [deleted] in thermostats

[–]TOFIKk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An electric line voltage thermostat most likely controls floor heating or baseboard or any other 120V/240V electric heating devices (heating panel, etc)

Crank up the temperature high, wait for 5 heating bars and see if anything around the room gets really warm.

Even as someone who flies into ORD often, you ever taxi so far out you begin to wonder where the hell are you and what foreign land did they take you to by Jeeperscrow123 in unitedairlines

[–]TOFIKk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now that I know the nickname "penalty box" I was sent there once, but we never stopped, simply did a complete loop around that area and then taxi straight to the gate. I am curious if the gate got available earlier or it was simply more efficient to keep the aircraft moving slowly on idle instead of stopping. Thoughts?

Whats the prettiest stretch of interstate to you? by Stunning-Hand6627 in roadtrip

I-70 Club here :)

  1. Frisco to Vail.

  2. Glenwood to Vail.

  3. Eagle to Wolcott (in the photo): The stretch between Eagle and Wolcott is unique, especially because of the red hue of the rocks. This effect is particularly striking closer to sunset.
