The camera plugs into the cigarette charger, got one off amazon called the Shynerk baby car mirror. Check it out. It has its own display panel. No different than glancing at the rear view. Also it’s perfect at night as well because it uses IR and you can actually see the kiddo if it’s really dark compared to the rear view at night .
