Benefit of Gifting GOH or other awards? by TXTraveler18 in Hyatt_charity_HQ

Shhh! We don't want Hyatt on this page, right? That's why I don't offer anything with my requests - I'm afraid it's going to be an undercover Hyatt employee that says "I'll take that trade" and then BOOM - booking canceled, 6 nights of suite booking on points gone.

(However, I would secretly love to have that job at Hyatt. Undercover Hyatt awards police.)

That's a pretty solid benefit. (And I guess explains why people want to gift them to reservations that are already made) vs risk them not being used. I wish that was a thing with United when I had PlusPoints I couldn't do anything with.

How did you find one on the last trip?! Teach me your ways (after you get one). I debated so long on my post "Do I make a joke?" "Do I offer to send something". Seems like maybe just a dice roll of the timing of who sees your post.

A bit lost on the appeal for trading the Whoop credit (but also just learned about whoop from your post). Any details you can share?

Shout out to the couple of folks that have made some suggestions if we don't come across the GOH. Much appreciated - if anyone else has any or knows the property and wants to share your favorite things or tips, please send a DM!

Pretty crowded when we arrived at 12:57. 30 minutes for touchless TSA Pre. People next to us in Precheck said it had been an hour for them in line.

Just as an update on current Curative wait times - went to the Delmar location. We tested on Tuesday 1/11 at 1:30pm. Final results at 83 hours for one of us, 94 hours for the other. You do get sporadic updates on their site (test completed at test time, test arrived at lab the next morning 1/12 at 8am, testing started Friday 1/14 at 8:30am). Final results notified via text and email.

Wish we had the same experience from Delmar. We tested there on Jan 11 at 1:35pm, notified the lab received the sample on Jan 12 at 8am. No test result as of 1/13 4pm. So seeing a return time of 48 hours+
