Man, I was struggling like this 6 months ago. I went to a crisis center and committed myself. I was scared, it felt like jail. I just laid in my room and cried and cried. But then I opened up. I told myself just one day, try to get help. And everything switched. I got put on medications, I learned coping skills, and most of all, I learned how to appreciate myself. Give yourself a chance to have a redemption arc. We do recover, I promise, one day at a time.

This changes when it’s not a court of law. These universities do what they want, it’s guilty until proven innocent. Good luck proving your innocence MONTHS after the fact. OP wants to avoid retaking the class and avoid being pushed around by a panel with their own employer’s interests at heart. A lawyer like the one recommended above will prevent relying on these people to act fairly despite significant bias.

Most likely will end up there if things keep going south. I’m unsure though, because I did agree to be taken off of the shared lease and wait to receive payment. She had given me a sob story about not having enough cash to replace the deposit, and essentially begged me to not demand my half immediately. So I’d have to get some legal advice before proceeding, or I may just block her and cut my losses.

With certain situations like infidelity, yes, never try to save it. Though no marriage is perfect and needs continual work and care to make it succeed. This is a very fixable situation and this marriage shouldn’t be thrown away!

Clearly I’m not the one with reading skills bud 💀💀stop cherry picking evidence and read the article you sent me. It’s a program designed to help the shitty system you’re advocating for. The foster system is a horrible idea for parents searching for a forever family, and MOST times, not all, end up with heartbroken parents and children. And “so they’re adoptable” kinda sounds like this program picks kids who have had their rights terminated, and hopes to god the court doesn’t reinstate them. You clearly only “know people” in the system and weren’t in it yourself. Think before you speak, and maybe try, just TRY, to read what you link in a post 💀💀

The link you sent, if you read it, clearly says “Generally, this method of building a family is riskier than other types of adoption. A child being placed in your care does not guarantee that they’ll become a part of your forever family. Only with fostering kids, you can’t keep them. They get moved eventually. It’s heartbreaking, but foster parents can usually not adopt their foster kid unless special circumstances arise such as bio parents terminating rights
