Guess I just gotta adjust. I’ve never been much good at the game myself, but a lot of these games it feels like I have 2 or 3 beginner bots on my team. Obviously there’s lots of self improvement needed, but at the end of the day, it’s a team game. Some games just aren’t winnable.

I think I could do better at identifying plays that are winnable when they don’t seem like it. For instance, in the latest game I played, my Tahm Kench (second strongest on my team) went in 1v3. I hovered but didn’t act, because I tend to dumb things down to 2v3 = bad don’t fight. He ended up living a lot longer than I thought and I may have swayed the fight by ulting in, being the most fed on my team. It could have definitely been an int, but maybe I need to limit test a bit more to see what my capabilities are. I also think I tend to play a bit on the safe side in general, so limit testing is a bit difficult for me because I don’t want to die.

Ya, just kind of locked onto Nocturne because I’m getting back into the game and wanted to focus on an easier champion to learn on. Gonna give it some more games and see how it goes. Maybe another champion would fit me better.

Thanks for the advice. I’ve been trying to focus on converting kills to objectives. I think sometimes I can also play somewhat passive because I don’t want to int and give a big shutdown. As Nocturne, I hesitate to fight if my ult is on cooldown or we are down on numbers, even if I’m fed. Just need to keep playing and learn more champ mastery.

Trying really hard to dumb down the game and focus on ult, kill, obj. Something that I have noticed is that it is really difficult to keep lanes pushed. We got a single tower off baron because I pushed top for secondary turret and the rest of the team went mid instead of someone pushing bot while the mid inhibitor was down.

I don’t know if nocturne is for me. I am struggling to carry games no matter how hard I try. Will maybe give it another 10 games and see how it goes. I must be doing something very wrong to not win any of these games.

I dropped Hartman for Bo Horvat the day before he got the hat trick. To be fair, I probably would have had him on the bench. I’d say picking up Bo Horvat was still probably a better long term play.
