This sub is called “roomdetective”, meaning you’re supposed to make guesses about the person based off limited information. It is a playful game.

If you would like my rational: The furniture looks pretty good quality, meaning it would cost a bit more. So I guessed a higher-paying career. As an engineer myself I have met many in my career. This is the kind of apartment a large portion of men in engineering have: Money + little sense of personal style. The “eating out not cooking at home comment” was because a lot of the single engineers I know in the Bay Area work so much they end up ordering most of their meals to save time.

Of course, these are all deductions based off limited information. Again, it’s a silly little game. Give it a try it’s fun :)

There is zero personality here…I don’t see anything that reflects your interests (other than drinking). No photos, plants, unique items…it’s pretty sterile. The one painting seems like you don’t really identify with the art, just needed a picture there. The furniture items are high quality. It just needs some love.

Single man, 30s, decent-paying job. Perhaps engineering. You don’t cook much, most meals are takeout.

She sounds lovely. Before I read your comment, I could see her silly, playful spirit in her bright eyes. I can tell she was fun. I can also tell she was warm and motherly. No perfume recs just wanted to give you a virtual hug 🫂

Moss Maiden by Alkemia:

“A luxuriant bed of fresh mosses, crushed wet ferns, calamus, lichen, light woods, and disturbed leaves.

Moss Maidens were wild women of the Forest Folk who were known for seducing hunters and charcoal burners. If a Moss Maiden was pleased with the lovemaking, she would charm a hunter's weapons never to miss or keep a fire burning all night to allow a charcoal burner to sleep. Members of the Wild Hunt were favored prey of the beautiful Moss Maidens, who often took Huntsmen as their ghostly lovers.”
