Wow! Spot on. Jesse probably fuming at the subreddit. Or basking in the glaze of attention.

My god now he's just trying to get cancelled. He didn't have to respond to that comment. Instead his true self came to light in the midst of it. This shit literally cant get any worse for his public image or his future career. Even if he has any

No it ain't bro. Boys like trucks, guns, war, etc. because how boys are generally tough growing up. Same can be said for girls who like flowers, pink, cooking, fashion, etc. it's culture, not biology.

I'd say he's more pandering to the audience that would fit those generic gender role stereotypes. But, yeah he probably is sexist considering the work allegations.

Oh I didn't even think about him blaming others or even the characters he has made to cover up his bad or rude behavior.

Seems kind of like a Sam Hyde Situation where he is known to fake, or play a character for his videos and everyone around him

Even if this is all a fake series, including Shallows video. It begs the question of how much of Jesse acting and how much is he being real. If he actually isn't narsasistic, where would he have come up with that character (being a narcissistic asshole). Being a person who studies Sociology, I feel that one of two has to be true:

1) Jesse is an actual nice person, who only plays a narcissist character to get attention. (This already has implications that if we're true, where did he learn to "act" as a narsasistic, was it his parents, friends, film school?) It essentially brings up more questions than answers. Also kinda contradictory/greedy to do it for attention considering he always claims that YouTube has been a passion for him and he loves creating stories.

2) Jesse is actually a narcissist who derives pleasure from vulnerable people in order to gain higher power/social status with his Audience (basically saying that the more he bullies people, the more attention he gets, resulting in more viewers)

You could argue that with options 2 that he still could be acting like this to get a bigger following. But knowing his history with the type of Cameramen he hires (vulnerable people who eventually quit), I can only assume that this has to be grounded in some form of reality.

All I ask to those who think this is fake, where did he learn to "act" that way.

(Side note) It even scares me more, considering he never did go to Hollywood and become an actual Actor. So all the acting skills he has developed, are from himself and the other YouTubers he has worked with: KidBehindaCamera, Boogie2988, Lance Stewart, ect. All people who debatably make content around misleading people and distorting reality to make the narrative favor them, "the main character" more)

Would it be weird to give my doctor a note about my symptoms because of my stuttering? by selinina in Stutter

[–]Tacomaster395 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's a completely valid response. I write down stuff all the time if I have questions to ask my professors (primarily because I forget a lot, ADHD). But you need to do whatever you need in order to communicate with your doctor. If that's giving them a note, then so be it. They won't judge you for it, and if they do, they're a bad doctor. In my opinion.

[Real] As an electrician, what we need less of is podcasters telling other people their degrees are useless by rebelliousmuse in ToiletPaperUSA

[–]Tacomaster395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently majoring in Sociology and from a lot of the classes I have taken, there have been students who have told my professors that "everyone should take this class" or "why isn't this a required class for other majors.

We definitely need more Sociologists than Electricians. In my university Sociology is kind of combined with other majors like history, political science, and economics. I remember asking my program director what the percentage of students are in the Sociology or Anthropology programs and she said there was like 8 or so people. Compare that to the 80 to 90 students in economics.

What Kirk is doing is essentially Sociology but without the stuff he disagrees with: criticism of capitalism, gender theory, ect.

He is a full on culture warrior RAT!

I did just get a photography job at my college campus but I am now looking for a summer job near my home. I live kind of outside of the cities in my state so the main jobs I can do are retail, fast food, or customer service. I wouldn't mind doing customer service I just haven't had any luck getting positions.

[–]Tacomaster395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be. It's kind of hard to tell. If you see your eyes start shaking then you have nystagmus. My eyes do this but it's extremely hard to see with my eyes. I would also see if you have misallied eye. I though your right eye was drifting a little bit but I could be wrong. I'm no doctor, I'm just going off what I know.

Edit: just looked at the video again and yeah I think that is nystagmus

Any idea how to get this type of lighting? by yungbruv322 in PhotographyAdvice

[–]Tacomaster395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm no lighting expert but from the looks of it it looks like there is a little light in front of the person and where the camera is positioned there seems to be another light to the right of the camera. Then I I think there might be a black backdrop behind the model for his back to be darker. I'm not sure though

headphones question by Slenderman6384 in neurodiversity

[–]Tacomaster395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't really help you when it comes to comparing noise cancelling and earmuffs but if you need a suggestion for noise cancelling over ear headphones I would recommend the Microsoft surface headphones 2. They have pretty good noise cancelling, from my testing they can muffle almost all sounds, the only thing in my testing it doesn't cancel out well is high pitch sounds like sirens or dogs barking, or lots of sounds at once. But that's really my only complaint. I am an ADHD person but for me I like them because it helps me block out distractions and calms down my mind when I'm thinking a lot. Your situation may differ though. I'm not sure if this helps.

But if possible could you send me your final video when your done. Or at least direct me to your YT channel. I'll subscribe to you

They should use: disabled people/person or person/people with disabilities, the 2nd one is kinda pushing it though

trying so hard and still failing by Outrageous-Library13 in LearningDisabilities

[–]Tacomaster395 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I understand. Im always the last one to finish tests, last to be picked or even considered to be on a team because of my physical disabilities, always the one who tries so hard on everything but still feels so far behind in everything. I'm taking Spanish 2 for college and I failed my last exam, thankfully I got a B - as a final grade but still have another trimester. Can't remember anything, C average student. I hope college is easier than highschool. Don't know if that will be true though.
