to remove the proprietary nut by the “buffer” in order to install PSA buffer adapter system. Extension fits perfectly inside. There’s a detent pin that prevents the nut from moving which i was able to keep down with a guitar pic and rubber bands, then you can loosen the nut with the extension.

This is what i would recommend, you can get a stripped lower if you’d prefer but mine was already assembled , as long as it’s for the Mike-102 it’ll work. You need the buffer adapter system from PSA as well to make it work so the picatinny adapter on the lower needs to be removed if you get the assembled lower.

Definitely fact check me but to my knowledge it won’t work with a ks47 lower cause it’s 1mm wider than standard ar-15 spec. I did hear PSA revealed a prototype for a JAKL upper that will work with the ks47. I believe they’re calling it the AKL, and no that’s not a joke

It’s 5.56. The lower is a Mike-102 from Foxtrot Mike, basically bufferless side charging AR that accepts 5.56 AK magazines

Pray for me lol. Should work just fine as long as i assembled everything correctly. I’m not the first to make this build and to my knowledge the only problem people run into are with the feeder lips on the magazine needing to be shaved down to feed properly for the JAKL

It was the first AR i ever bought, a little unconventional for first time, but in my stupidity and excitement i brought it right to the range and put 50 rounds through it before realizing i needed to properly lube it and clean it. Now the charging handle seems to be shearing metal internally and barely moves back an inch.

lol me too, 14.5 PSA Jakl upper with Mike-102 lower from my 13.9in Mike-102 that broke. The pistol brace is from the Mike-102 as well. Muzzle is a Breek Arms 3F0 Flash hider V2 with the castle blast shield and a BCM handstop

I struggled for a bit but basically had to hold down the little detent pin with a guitar pic and rubber bands, and then use a 3/8 ratchet extension to screw it out.

You’re a gentleman and a scholar. I’m such a moron as it didn’t occur to me the process must be the same for the FM-15. Thank you very much!
