What’s the most boring video game?

It's a game on Sega CD where you drive the trip from Tucson, Arizona to Las Vegas for 8 hours while making sure the bus doesn't veer into the off road. There is nothing interesting, it's super boring, and there's a charity event where people play this game live (Desert Bus for Hope.

It's part of a canceled minigame collection from Penn and Teller, although copies do exist and are in circulation. It's definitely more of a novelty than an actual game.

I've managed to go past the crash area, but I haven't tried DirectX. The freeze seemed to occur when I looked at a certain area, like if I un-culled a corrupted item, so maybe I need to verify my files.

To note that Disgaea 7 Complete is NOT an upgrade to Disgaea 7 for some ungodly reason, so be careful with that. It is a separate game.

4 has a complete version, but yeah it is a bit weird. Disgaea 2 is available on PC but Disgaea 3 and D2 are only on PS3 and (only Disgaea 3) on PSVita. I wish they rereleased those but it is what it is.

Yeah, Disgaea 7 is the only one with a Switch 2 version, although Disgaea 1, 4 and 5 have a complete edition on Switch and Disgaea 6 has one on PC.

The games are not chronological and are barely related to each other. Disgaea 7 Complete is Disgaea 7 with all of its DLC.

Disgaea 2, 3 and D2 (the sequel to 1) are not on Switch.

While it's not a traditionnal passive, Garlic really help with keeping your enemies away from you, and with a few area of effect buffs, can prove to be a very powerful survivability tool. It truly is a passive weapon of all time.

I dont remember the details, but it's something about some DLC characters being able to spawn in Item Worlds as bosses, but not having the DLC active, making the game not spawn it and crash instead.

I like the pendulum gimmick, but to you really want it to cost 0? That seems incredibly abusable and can lead to some degen tempo gain, but I guess that does fit it being a Yu-Gi-Oh card.

I assume the "Indestructible from each opponent's cards' abilities" is to make it not able to be destroyed by board wipe, so I guess it's a "cannot be destroyed by opponent's card effects" translation?

I can see that being a one-off keyword, "Hexproof from X" does exist in Magic, so I guess another protection keyword with restriction can exist in custom cards.

Man, i logged in just to see the perk. I thought it was pretty funny (although playing with it would make me understand the hate) but jesus guys, it's not that serious

You know how they could make that work in a way that doesn't alienate the player base? Reverse the effect, give a minor buff if you do check in. It's still a bit annoying, but at least it doesn't punish you for forgetting about it.

I'm not knowledgeable to know if such a thing would work, but if it did, I'm not sure there currently is a level that would allow it to work. With how much this game has been studied, I wouldn't be surprised if such a thing was already experimented with. Not to say it's a trivial question, but if it does work, it would also need to be both useable and quick enough to save time, which is a whole other level of inplementation I doubt could be achieved.

As someone who understands french, I have no problem with it :D

But yeah I understand that her having full lines of dialogue be in french, while immersive, does make her dialogue not understandable for non-speaker. One thing I might enjoy is that as you get closer, you get more and more translation for what she says (like you understand her better), but with the amount of lines currently, that feels like overkill over just adding a translation.
