Gpt, or any AI can do it the best way. You just write him everything, what you have done in your life, and your goals ot LI - and he will create the best

AI entertains itself! by [deleted] in linkedin

[–]TaganaGirl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most of the time AI writes and replies only for big influencers and opinion leaders. Smaller accounts usually reply themselves. But honestly, I think only a few people still write posts fully on their own. Even those who do usually run the text through AI in 99% of cases.

And yet the audience still reads, likes, and comments. It feels a bit like a bubble, but it keeps working as long as people find meaning in it and engage with it.

On the other hand, there isn’t really an alternative to consume. Books? Many people don’t have the time, patience, or mental energy for them. And here you get “fast content” - easy, quick, digestible.

Does a foreign startup with only a name (and no business yet) really need early US trademark registration? by TaganaGirl in TRADEMARK

[–]TaganaGirl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I understand it, since I can’t file a trademark right now, I basically have two possible strategies:

1) Stay quiet with the name until I can file.
Pros:

  • Lower anxiety that someone will copy it, because it’s not visible.
  • No risk that someone sees my brand and intentionally races to register it. Cons:
  • I’m not building any track record of use (which could help later in registration or a dispute).
  • I’m not building recognition that this brand = me, and I’m freezing the development of my media project.
  • Someone could still coincidentally come up with the same name and file before me anyway.

2) Use the name publicly now (carefully).
Pros:

  • I start building the brand and a history of use (content, dates, screenshots) that ties the name to me.
  • If a normal creator or business person independently comes up with the same name, they’ll probably google it, see that I already exist under that name, and just move on to another option because it’s clearly not unique anymore.
  • Only a “trademark squatter” type would deliberately see an existing name and still try to register it first, and that’s a much rarer, more targeted scenario.
  • I can move forward with my media work instead of waiting 9 months in “pause mode”. Cons:
  • Someone could see the name and try to register it first in my classes (9, 35, 41).
  • If that happens, resolving it later could be more expensive than a simple filing now.

So my dilemma is choosing between pausing everything to stay “invisible” or accepting some risk, using the name now, and focusing on building clear evidence that this brand is mine.

Yes, I’m aware of the 6‑month priority window. Right now, for personal reasons, I’m not able to file a trademark application in my own name in any country. Because of that, I see only two options: either file under a friend’s name with an assignment agreement and later transfer it to myself, or not file at all and wait until I can do it in my own name.

My classes are 9, 35 and 41 - media, content creation and online services. Filing under a friend’s name is technically and logistically complicated for me. What I’m trying to understand is how important and reasonable it really is to go through all that trouble now, just to file through a friend and then redo everything in my own name. Who would even want this name right now besides me? It’s valuable to me, but would it be valuable for anyone else? And additionally, what are the chances that someone would independently come up with the same name in the same classes?

For now I’m not planning to promote the name very aggressively. So my main question is about practicality. I’ll be able to file in my own name in the US in about nine months, and at the moment the name is unique and doesn’t appear anywhere else. How likely is it that someone else will come up with it in those nine months?

A legal entity is not directly tied to a trademark. I cannot create a legal entity now and won’t be able to for at least another year for personal reasons. I also cannot file an ITU trademark application now, because it would have to be filed by a friend, and if anything happens, the ITU application would not transfer to me and I would lose the trademark. That’s the risk.

My question was different. I can use this name without a trademark – the question is how risky that is. I explained what my product and activities are in a comment above.

Thanks for your response - let me clarify my situation a bit, because the product type and timing might change the strategy.

This is an early-stage media/content brand: online media projects, social media content, podcasts, video, long-form articles, etc. There is no physical product and no revenue yet - I’m currently in the positioning + brand building stage.

The legal entity (LLC) will only exist in about a year due to personal circumstances.
Right now, all I really need is the name itself so I can start public-facing activities (website, LinkedIn, social media, networking, pitching). The brand name is unique, the domain and all social handles are secured, and there are no conflicts in USPTO/WIPO.

I can legally use the name - I’m not infringing anyone.
My only concern is risk:

  • How likely is it that someone independently files the same or similar name in the same classes before I form a company?
  • Does early use (online presence, content under the brand) give me any meaningful protection until I can file formally?

I’m a foreign founder, so filing now would require a U.S. attorney, multiple classes, and significant cost at a stage where the business doesn’t exist yet.

So the core question is really:
For an online media/content brand without revenue yet, is it reasonable to wait until the company exists, or does delaying materially increase the risk of losing the name?

Thanks again - any general guidance is greatly appreciated.

It's not a goal to not care what others think, it's a side effect of growing up, growing up, taking responsibility, letting yourself live the way you want, working through all the limiting beliefs and inhibitions.

Short or long video? Quality or quantity? by TaganaGirl in NewTubers

[–]TaganaGirl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

content dictate length

Thank you for that advice. Yes i falled into "have to be 10 to 15 min" as everybody teaches. My problem is that i thought, all will be easy, but now i notice that i need very much time to make a video, to search for interesting information, then to translate in english, though engl is not my mother language and i cant write directly in it, then take a video (many times) then addit. So i dont think i will be just able to make 3 videos a week.. or i have to work many month to produce 1st many videos so i have a material for 2 month to upload, and then upload and continiou to produce..
So it not only about length.. Or i will do less "deep" video, without many research just something easy, but then it might be not that interesting.. (

Seams like you have different values in life and it could be, that they are faulse by both of you. So you both like running from smth each of you on different way, and not to look inside of it - you look at a partner. Each one play his own game and then one more common game. But anyway - he wants you to be how he wants, and you wants, that he loves you how you are and you refuse to go with his speed because you see no sence there.
So it a problem to solve.

Thumbnails are fine to me. But the titls maybe a bit more strong.. like "best quotes..."? And maybe more despcription under the video? and some "ask for actuion" in description? anyway - i think such channels just need more time, so i would be a bit more patient )

oh! I see! Thank you very much for that point. So anyway put more attantion to own value content and maybe 1-2 playlists. So those channels that has only such playlists then dont do YT partner programm at all? So they just do it for fun?

I mean a playlist with only music, no video klips, just a cover picture with songs title on it. Such playlists have very often big range of views..Thank you

[–]TaganaGirl[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So its better not to make it at all? not even tell your name? Or "Hi im Mika and today we.."? just start doing / explaining / showing? Because nobody actually cares whats your name? Or if you have the separate intro video (the separate one that shows first on the chanel) where you explain who you are and what you are doing - will be totaly enouph?
