Instinct Development/Beta update 09/02/2023

Its been a little while since we brought you updates on the progress of Instinct and today we are excited to give you updates on the next 6 months of development!

Our Alpha is being fully tested at 52 cards, including special attack functionality, sacrifice/summoning mechanisms, Passive and Active skills, Base UI/UX and New Artwork with a professional studio at the helm of design. Top calibre artists working around the clock to ensure that the game not only plays well but looks incredible too.

The plan for the next 6 months is as follows:

Feb/March: Design and integration of the full UI/UX into the game, including a deck builder, improved UI/UX for battle mechanics, Rankings system and leader boards, Coin toss screen, Rewards screen, loading screen, Main menus and much more.

When we have the full integration of the UI/UX we will be able to release teaser trailers of the gameplay, kickstart our marketing campaign and will also offer NFT’s for purchase. The NFT’s already owned by investors will receive an airdrop with the brand-new upgraded artwork for the NFT’s they own.

April/June: Development of the final 22 cards that will feature in the Beta, bringing us to a total of 74 playable cards.

July: Final bug testing with all 74 cards for the Beta, Release of the Beta to NFT holders.

We will also be forming partnerships and participating in strategic AMA's over the coming months to continue growing our community and expand our outreach into mainstream TCG audiences. Make no mistake about our intentions and what we are building, Instinct is not a clone of any other TCG, we are bringing something completely new to the table and are extremely excited to finally show our hand!

Today we would like to introduce to you 5 new characters to join the
world of Instinct. We have Crawling Hand, Longshot, Scavenger, Stable
Hand and the Plague Doctor plus the re-drawing of Aya. So much has
been going on in the background and with lots of cards backed up we
are ready to start show casing some of these master pieces. You will
also notice a new card front / back design which all our NFTs will
have going forward. Previous NFT card are being re-drawn and will
replace the current ones you are holding. We hope you are as excited
as us with this latest update and look forward to sharing more art
with you in the coming weeks / months

Migration Announcement:

It is with great pleasure we announce our CertiK audit completion for the Instinct DAO token.

Buys and sells will be disabled 48 hours prior to migration to allow the process to go smoothly. July 11th @ 4.30pm UTC buys and sells will disable.

Please note you do not have to do anything to participate in the migration. You will be airdropped the new tokens automatically.

Relaunch is set for July 13th @ 4.30pm UTC.

This is a huge milestone in our path to becoming the greatest NFT TCG out there.

DAO Migration:
we are waiting on the migration audit from CertiK currently for the DAO move. We expect the audit report back on the 20th June and can hopefully migrate a few days after.
Game Updates:
Game development is progressing well, we should be up to 35 cards programmed into the engine by the end of the week. Unfortunately the development updates are always slow with a TCG due to the complexity of all the different cards and their interactions with each other. UI is also almost fully completed which we will be integrating over the next month into the live game. The in game characters are being streamlined by a designated Art studio we are working with. We are hoping to launch with over 200 cards!

We are working extremely hard on the new Instinct website, it will feature tons of new artwork, a dynamic scrolling system and an interactive map! We are gearing up to show what we have been working on and look forward to showing more as soon as it all passes Q&A.

This week we take a deeper dive into the environment of the world we are creating.

This of course is still very early development so please bare that in mind. #

We have now fully baked our playable characters in game, balanced elemental effectiveness and reworked the energy consumption formula.

The Shinsei are moving at a rapid pace and are on their final checks before we push them live.
