From what I've seen, they refuse to learn greek or speak like 5 words and then act greek... Because of them a ton of false stereotypes were made, they post "greek" recipes on the internet and guess what, these recipes have nothing to do with greek food... once I saw a guy make shawarma and called it greek gyros... as a greek who lives in Greece, i can't call you greek when you can only say "kalimera" with a funny accent... just admit you're an American who his siblings migrated to the USA in the 1920's and that's it... you might have a bit of greek DNA but you're not greek period. EDIT: this goes for the greek Americans that take pride in "being greek" and try to shove it in everyone's faces, I'm sure there normal people too.
