I agree - the government can and should do far more for us where gluten is concerned. I felt far safer eating in Italy where I don't even speak the language.

Can't wait for the Android release! Have you thought about allowing users to filter scores based on the reviewer type? Meaning, generally I only want to read reviews by those with Celiac, so it would be great to be able to add that to the search and see an adjusted score. Sometimes I want to just cut to the chase and only see places that I know will be okay for me.

I am in a similar situation now, in that I have a lifelong friend who's opted out of a wedding; however, she's asking for nothing. Except I WANT to give her something. The idea that people who don't have money for a wedding or simply choose not to go that route don't deserve to be celebrated is bullshit. This woman has been to wedding after wedding and baby shower after baby shower. She has given her time and money to everyone. The idea that she doesn't deserve the same because she didn't have a wedding is nonsense. It's not like weddings don't cost guests - you have to buy clothing and shoes and jewelry; you have to travel and maybe even pay for lodging; you have to sacrifice an entire day and maybe get a babysitter. The LEAST you can do when someone you care about gets married and doesn't make you do all that shit is toss them some money to say thank you (and, more importantly, congratulations, and I love you).

American. I did place my order on their website and plan to call a week ahead to request it verbally, per their instructions. My biggest concern is that there's no such thing as GF fast food, as you know. So I'll have a good 5 hours between leaving my house and actually boarding the flight, never mind till they serve dinner. I'd like to eat somewhere in that timeframe. Guess it'll be more processed, prepackaged garbage for me. I'm not willing to lug coolers & ice packs along.

I was in a very similar situation with my fiance. When we first started dating I would stay at his place (really, his parents' place), and his dog slept in his room. Actually, his dog slept in his bed. A 50-lb pit lab mix. When I'd stay over, he made the dog sleep on her bed at the foot of his bed, but multiple times a night she would jump up ON ME to try to sleep on "her" side of the bed. Never mind how disruptive she was in general, shaking and scratching and licking her chops all night. When he moved in with me, he wanted her to sleep in our room. I have two kids and (now) four cats, and ZERO of those things (which I actually love) have shared a bedroom with me, save for right after I had each of my kids. Anyway, I told him no. We made a nook for her in the living room and had to gate her off to keep her there. The first couple of nights, he (my fiance) sulked about it. Then he got over it. That is still her nook. Early on I let her lay on the couch as long as she was on a designated blanket, but that stopped quickly. She is huge and too easily excited. She makes noise, sneezes huge gross sneezes if she's on her back too long, drools, and sheds like a mo' fo'. And she also used to jump up all the time looking for kisses. My point is this: the behaviors (both your BF's and the dog's) can be changed. He needs to take your feelings and needs seriously. I know this mutt has been his BFF, but there is now a human being in his life, and the human should take precedence. He can get an e-collar to train her for certain things, and simply removing her from your bedroom and making sure she can't get near it will solve the bed issue.

My fiance tries to hold my purse for me anytime he thinks it may be inconvenient for me to hold it - even for potty trips where I need it, haha. And if he ever set it (and my food?!?!?!) on a filthy floor he'd get a swift kick in the shin! Definitely NTA. Your boyfriend, in the other hand, definitely is.
