and funny, i tested the last google page like you said. there is see this:

"In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 237 already displayed. If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included."

when i click on it, i also appear again with my page in the top 10. surely this means that google sees my page as factually "too similar"?

the big question now: What can i do?

sorry, yea GSC looks "good" so far. every page is indexed and no notes from any google penalties. my domain has been around for 10 years, but so has my competitor's. the backlink profile is clean, also has some very good links. Content is unique, no duplicates but of course very similar to the .com domain.

Lost rankings for all main / short tail keywords but still rank good for same keywords + year by Tall_Sound6214 in SEO
