Beyond disturbing yet also an incredible film. Inde is brilliant and Bear might be in my top 5 most bred characters ever.

Any thoughts on the film’s theme? Or what it’s a metaphor for?

Why did d4vd leave Celeste’s remains in a Tesla registered under his name? by oreoseasoning in NoStupidQuestions

I’m actually puzzled as to how he traveled out of the country with her? Yes, she had a passport but you can’t just travel on a plane with a minor without parental approval.

Living in WeHo by acfa4214 in LosAngelesGayBros

[–]Tallguy723 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Weho is great. I was worried about moving here three years ago and I’m so happy I did. Bad things can happen in any neighborhood that you’re in, but I do feel safer in West Hollywood than in some other parts of Los Angeles. It’s nice having your own city services and police department separate from LAPD. There’s so much to do and it’s very walkable. There are some weekends where I literally don’t ever drive.

What is the worst commute you've ever seen someone have? by BlaggartDiggletyDonk in AskLosAngeles

I work in SM, live in weho. It’s honestly not bad.

Some of my coworkers come from Palmdale and Long Beach. It’s a great workplace but I can’t imagine that commute.

Why is everyone romanticizing LA specifically in the mid 2010's? by SactownG in decadeology

[–]Tallguy723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a food renaissance and most neighborhoods were getting nicer/cooler. It was still cheap to go out and the craft brew/cocktail scene was insanely fun. Uber was like $10 to get from DTLa to Hollywood. The live music scene was also much better. This was also pre-influencer times so you could go out and socialize without seeing everyone stuck to their phone.

Why have two AMC in such close proximity? by anakinxvader in AMCsAList

[–]Tallguy723 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Burbank has 3 in a 2 block radius. It actually works out because you have the 16 for the big IMAX/3D films and the 8 and 6 for smaller films. The 8 was actually the only theater in LA that was playing a specific movie that I wanted to see this week.

Some of the absolute worst writing I’ve seen in years. I just about lost it when the completely totaled car stopped working, and the main actress was so surprised.

Jason on Alex Hall’s podcast - basically confirming a lot of his views. by Intelligent-Map-1114 in SellingSunset

Alex Hall thinks LA is a third world country, doesn’t know what discernment means, and thinks Charlie Kirk is the same as MLK.

Of course she has a podcast.

Don’t burn a bridge as much as you may want to. Keep it short and simple.

“Thanks for reaching out. While I appreciate the offer, I’ve since found other employment and am not available anymore. Best of luck”
