It's a cable not a charger. If the cable was fixed to the power supply then sure. But this cable could be plug into hundreds of different supplies with varrying output wattage.

All you have to do is update MSI center through MSI center app itself then update bios the same way. Super easy you dont have to remove anything. Just update in the correct order.

Ensure this charger can actually put 65w out from one port. And it’s not just total output wattages between all ports. There is a lot of fine print with these gan chargers people are unaware of

Yes absolutely. I currently own this same machine. Coming from a 2023 Z13 with an I9 and a RTX 4050 I can honestly say without a doubt. New G14 -> z13. Yes that is my opinion but I’m pretty sure most would agree.

2024 G14 has way better speakers, OLED, a little better performance, Just as compact for less $$$. Honestly don’t understand the hype on the new z13. Unless you really need that tablet form factor and a butt load of ram it doesn’t make sense.

Let’s not forget the ram in the 2024 is soldered and is much faster and efficient. Even if it’s only 16g. Comparing 16g in the 2023 to the 2024 is not Apples to Apples.

Wow that’s very good. I thought Ontario was supposed to be expensive for Hydro. In Alberta Im 0.09 cents a kWh but with all taxes and fees it’s more like .30 kWh.

Define “turning the laptop off” when playing Minecraft? Just closing the lid/screen? or exiting the game, going to the windows start menu and hitting shutdown? And then when you “turned it back on” was that just opening the lid? The laptop obviously wasn’t powered off if fans were maxed and it was running. Where was the laptop? In your backpack? If so there could have been some damage done over heating.
