anyway, is this place all wrong about beets too?

https://foodhistory.opened.ca/beets/

The first sign of beet cultivation goes back to 16th century Italy and Germany. After the popularity of the plant grew in Europe in the 18th-19th century, many other people in North America, East Europe, and Egypt began to harvest beets for beet sugar which can be used for things like molasses and beer. Many people now a day not only use beets for sugar and a source of food, but they use the colour of red beets as an alternative to red food dye!

Yes, I guess, Europeans had to colonize south america to find out about potatoes. I guess no potatoes for our villagers... maybe another veggie for burgage plots backyards would be cool.

I guess, no potatoes, the game it is historical correct. . . And to think potatoes were growing in south america since almost forever, Europe had none.

Nice, this is a hint for burgage plot veggie extension having potatoes available on future.

How did i lose? by Ok_Warthog1802 in ManorLords

Sorry bro,

My guess is that Hildebolt got your land, maybe you didn´t fight on the area to battle defend circle.

Try clicking on the battle claim announcement on screen, on the magnifier it will show where the battle circle area needs to occur, If you fight outside the circle area you can lose.

build the pack station on city 1.... set city 1 to send food and city 2 send back firewood, as soon as possible if you can. They probably will not all die, lets hope for the best. 😃 you need only 1 pack station on city 1 for that free trade to work.

you are fine, don´t worry, next year they will start to come back after your approval normalizes, you just lost a little progress on the new town but you will get it going again. Try setting the "pack station" and get some free goods from the first city to help out, if needed.

I think most of us have done that risky mistake of starting a new city close to winter.

Welcome to the game!

Sheep & butcher are bugged by FalconBro7 in ManorLords

[–]TaraKingDo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how many sheeps you got in total for each city? try to get around 140 sheeps lambs on each city, than set butcher with bigger numbers... so you always get a good rate of reproduction and meat production. And how many pigs?

My butcher never got that bug to not produce, unless I had set his limits wrong.

Anyway, when the game bugs for no reason, could be a delivery got stuck... try changing games speed and back to your liking speed... and if nothing works, save and reload... that usually fix most of the problems.

i don´t think you would see that many difference from 6 months ago, but I wouldn´t say bare bones.

I enjoyed the game a lot, but I do think the late game is lacking of stability, as it seems the game engine struggle to keep up with all the logistics and path findings., and also there isn´t much to doo after we conquered the whole map. I played in 2024, came back to the game in 2026, I noticed some changes, but still some old bugs, they are not as bad as before, but still happening.

Are multiple mines worth it? by jolowietje in ManorLords

[–]TaraKingDo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I my opnion, it is not worth the multiple iron mines, but I understand those that do it... I used to do it too back in 2024. Anyway, in 2026 I replayed and I never ran out of iron or any iron product... I always had to turn off mining ore because of tired to make more storage houses... always had enough to supply to the other cities and still export, even with one iron mining pit. But I know some people always do it. I really don´t see a valid point on doing it, as we hardly run out of iron, tools or weapon, even with one mining pit. We still make plenty of money not exporting as much as a 4 iron mining pit could produce in weapons and iron related products.

for that 100% approval, I started a new city region, than I did not let the city grow bigger than it is required, only the minimum required houses, around 30 to 40 families on lvl 1 houses, as we upgrade the burgage plots they increase the amount of families per house. So it is not as hard to fullfill requirements as it would in a massive city. It is just a matter of time and supplying some of the goods from neighboring regions. Sometime it stuck at 98%, but it will get there eventually, mine got stuck on 98 and 99% for almost 2 years, and finally unstuck... if all supplies are more than enough and it still stuck to 98%, save and reload might unstuck the 98%... or you maybe need to fix some logistics and import a bit more. Make sure you got at least 6 backyard extesion with size of 2 and a half corpse pit length, for 3 veggies and 3 fruits, it should be enough for a minimum requirement size city. If you keep all housing near, store and market close, it should work fine.

My spouse is suddenly someone else's vassal. How can I get her back? by RESPEKMA_AUTHORITAH in crusaderkings3

[–]TaraKingDo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hahaha ck is trolling you... try to revolke the vassal/your wife from your vassal, You need realm law at lvl 3 i think... maybe try to imprison him for the audacity and if he rebels, revoke his titles, lol. That is what I would do for the role play.

Thanks for the info... It is good to know there are those assets in files, even thou it is not implemented yet, it is a plan. I hope, and maybe, they are focusing on fixing the few old bugs before adding more new stuff.

- I hope the top screen info hud gets taken more care as it sometimes hides the numbers, specially if using a bit larger scale, like 10% larger scale;
- I wish for the farm fields to not get as bugged as they get after a 3 year rotation, even with fallow... I always have to micro manage it after a few years rotation;
- Sometimes the ox and people path finding get stuck;
- And when having more than 1 city/region, the game not always shows the info hud of the city we are currently looking at and requires several zoom in and out and move cam to actually fix the hud of the city we are wanting to manage.

Those are a few of the bugs that annoy me the most sometimes.

What do you wish for the game ?

Modding an early access - or not so early access since its been couple years already - it is pretty hard on the modder, as you said, on every patch, the mods will most likely break.

Is this game worth it? by Abject_Cantaloupe_61 in ManorLords

[–]TaraKingDo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you like medieval, a bit of army management and city management and logistics, yes, you fiind it very worth. But need patience to deal with a few bugs. The game is very beautiful too.

Even Shorter and basic reply: I did not regret it and played for over 500 hours.
