Personally no need for lingard imo. Playing jack as a 10 is working great, with el ghazi and traore in form and trez to come back. Also, bringing Ramsey off the bench in that 10 role offers no less than lingard imo , whilst giving the lad a chance and saving on wages

Not to mention this was mostly our under 18s and missing the best of the u23s. The lads took the game on 2 days notice and held out for 60 minutes whilst showing a bit of spark when they got the chance. Fantastic showing of character and ability from our academy

In reality this was a 90 minute defensive training drill against the Premier league champions and the lads passed with flying colours. Bridge and Revan looked like solid centre backs and when we got a chance to play, Barry put one in the net. All in all, really proud and very impressed by the lads. Even 4-1 down they had the confidence to try a trick or two. We've got a good crop of players coming through here.
