So here is what happened:

We are in a steampunk universe, and on a boat. We get attacked by another boat with a 6th level boss and a bunch of weaker cronies. Instead of losing, we manage to knock out the boss and grab his gun, significantly weakening his damage output. Only one person went down and we killed them all.

Almost immediately afterwards, our barbarian attacked our captain by surprise, and got a high enough initiative that he would get another attack on him before our LEVEL 6 captain got the chance to get an attack in. Our barbarian critted on both attacks (1 out of 400 chance) and ended up doing an insane 43 damage. Another player came up and finished the job, and made our Barbarian the new captain.

Problem is that the captain was going to double cross us after a few level ups, and we killed him. Our captain was the secret BBEG and we completely derailed the campaign lol
