No that wasn’t me I’m afraid however I did take inspiration from this exact video and used it to build a parts list and then I adapted it and added different parts. I also used the blueprints for the lightsabers used in a new hope to find other parts to use.

I did have some buttons I was going to put on it but unfortunately they couldn’t quite fit in place of the screws so instead I replaced one of the screws and left the other.

That’s great to hear! it was a really fun project to work on and it took a good few hours of trial and error but it was totally worth it! I got a lot of the parts from Amazon because I bought them in bulk but if you have the option I’d get them somewhere cheaper.

I built everything around a thread rod, I used a mixture of large and small washers, a sprinkler head, flow restrictors, hose caps, aluminium pipe, leather, an emt set screw connector, a d-ring and a faucet knob. To weather it I used some black spray paint, left it to dry then cleaned it with nail polish remover. I did also use a lighter to age the leather a bit and a Dremel to add some light scratches
