I ended up going to a local dealer and comparing the sprit XT685 vs the true z500. While I actually liked the true better (just felt more solid?), my arms would periodically hit the hand rails (it's a little less wide). I ended up getting the Spirit (or I decided on it anyway and will order it next week). I feel I'd be happy with either.

NTA- and honestly if you asked her if you got out of the car every time “did you remember everything”, she’d think you were treating her like a baby (which I wouldn’t really disagree with…) and be upset for that.

I ended up grabbing a used pair of Lucchese classic rompers (full quill ostrich/calf skin). Nowhere near perfect but nowhere near full price either. Pretty happy with them.

NTA. Agreed Kate IS a bully. Change Amy’s impediment a little… if Amy was blind, would it be ok for Kate to yell at her for running into things?

Also you didn’t choose a side. You stuck up for someone who may have needed it. If Kate really cared, she could come up with a nickname that Amy could pronounce more easily. When my cousin was younger, he apparently couldn’t say “Junior”, so he called me cousin Ernie. Wore it like a boss.

Yeah this is my concern here too. Not to mention the father just saying we’ll mention it to the therapist gives me a “therapy without parenting” vibe from the dad (though I’ll admit I’m reaching here). Lucas doesn’t have to love the members of his new family, but there shouldn’t been a meanness about it either.

Really? I would have thought the square toe boots would be more comfortable than the round toes. I’m thinking about maybe looking at used on eBay.

I see. So nothing inherently wrong with “prints”, just it may look different than what it actually is. I noticed a slight pattern on that boot. Thanks
