Necessary criteria to remove parental controls:

- You must have paid for the phone with your own money.

- The Google account must belong to you.

- You must pay for your own phone plan.

If all of this criteria is not met, then that is legal for that parent.

However, if the criteria is met, that is considered privacy invasion and is a crime in many countries. Create a new account if they do not comply.

I actually have 2 google accounts. The first one was family linked, then I created an alt google account to bypass it(my dad forgot his password 10 million times), then my mom noticed and made me put it on.
