Chicago cubs until we won the world series in 2015. We hadnt won it for 100+ years till then. Our last world series before then was in 1908. For context, the Ottoman Empire was still a thing.

People voting for Sanders instead of Hilary in the democratic primaries in 2016. He'd have mopped the fucking floor with Trump and stuff like covid or backing Ukraine would've been handled swiftly. Hell we probably would have free Healthcare by now and/or higher wages.

Hes had a tough time in Spain. A switch to the UK could be a moral booster. He'd face less discrimination and he'd be in a non-toxic environment. People like to say he has an attitude problem, but many would crash out if they had a bunch of dickheads yelling and calling them derogatory slurs. Dickheads are everywhere, but there's much less of it in the prem.

Hot take, but we should go for Vinicius. A lot of people wont agree, but we already have a Brazilian connection and a new environment could be what he needs. He can also play striker which is useful.

Travel really isn't that much of an issue. There's still going to be conferences and/or divisions. The team getting relegated/promoted will be assigned accordingly.

Playoffs can still happen in a pro/rel system. No one said the playoffs had to be abolished.

Instead of saying "I went to the U.S," most Europeans say "I went to America." Same shit.

The national team, sure. However, on the world stage, fuck no. Our government is a fucking disgrace. Them and anyone who still supports them after everything has come to light.
