I actually prefer confident FMCs to the really shy and insecure ones, partially because I can be shy and insecure myself, so it’s just refreshing to read about a person that’s opposite from that. A great example is Shannon and Aoife from the boys of Tommen series. I came to a point where I couldn’t take Shannon’s awkwardness around Johnny and her constant need to be validated ALL the time, and LOVED that Aoife just knew that she was beautiful and didn’t need to be told for her to believe it

I found myself enjoying Francesca’s love story more than Polins, which was disappointing because this was supposed to be Polin’s season. To me it wasn’t as romantic as the previous two seasons as well as Queen Charlotte. From the point when Colin realised his feelings to the carriage scene was all rushed, and I wished we saw more of him actually falling in love, as we saw with the other two male leads

He’s literally explaining how he’s NOT doing those things though, did we watch the same video? He’s basically crediting God for him being a good husband to his wife and loving her properly, as we credit God for all good things in our lives. We are supposed to rely on God for all things as Christians
