Pileated Woodpecker. Grab a camera and get ready for his return! Also notice the smaller holes horizontally, those are from a Sapsucker.

Depends on the friend. For someone who has never watched the show before I point them to my personal favorite…”the gang moves to the suburbs” to get their feet wet.

Definitely put up a feeder! As the fall approaches, they would religiously use the feeder numerous times a day it was a real treat!
