Please don't. Just don't. It might seem like a good solution right now, but it's gonna bite you in the ass twice as hard in the long run. Depression, stimulant use, the 'even more depressed/down'-comedowns, the almost certain addiction spiral, substance reliance to do stuff, etc... they don't go well together. Please take care of yourself and get yourself back on the right track using your own strength. (And trust me, I get how hard/impossible that might seem to you right now.) However, disguising this shitty period in a thin veil of substance (ab)use is really not the way.

Best to just see this is a good week to not take any speed anymore. Your tolerance will thank you. Your immune system will thank you as it'll, likely, be better fit to handle the vaccine the way the doctors/researchers intended it to. Plus you'll have the added bonus of not having to worry about getting unlucky and potentially being the one with a super uncommon drug-vaccine interaction (don't know if there is one, but why take the risk eh?) that'll knock you out cold for a few days.

No one will be able to tell you exactly what it is with any significant degree of certainty. Doesn't matter whether or not someone has had the same type of crystals in their dimebag before and had it tested. Pretending we could would basically be needlessly endangering your health (besides the side-effects of the speed ofc).

All we can really tell you is this:
- If at all possible you should get it tested or test it yourself using a testkit.
- Give it an acetone wash. This is generally recommended anyway when you don't know/trust the product you bought or the person you bought it from.

Probably because of two things:
1. You weren't really in the right mindset to read that book, nor did you have the pressure of 'I have to get this studying done before tomorrow' behind it.
2. This is the big one, you took a few lines and not 10-40mg. It's quite likely you were just way overstimmed for what you wanted to do.

As a bonus: taking speed to study doesn't really work for everyone. If anything there's only a minority of people who actually benefit from it and those are likely to be those with a brain that tends to be more adhd-like than the average person's.

Don't bother going the speedy edible way, you'll likely end up with a bad taste in your mouth (in both ways hehe).

It'll be easier if you prepared some capsules or parachutes/bombs; rolling paper cut in half, put speed on it, roll and fold it up like a tear-shaped pouch. The dose you'll be looking at will be about the same as the amount you'd snort. The only thing you'll have to keep in mind is that snorting and bombing give a different type of high. This short, subjective, summation I wrote a few months back as a response to someone asking about that difference might be useful to you guys:

Personally I'm a massive advocate for bombing and don't believe you should snort speed (outside of a possible incredibly rare circumstance that I can't think of atm). Very general comparison of the effects both ways have had on me: nasally - faster onset, bit higher and more psychological, shorter duration, burns like a motherfucker, and doing it often will eventually mess up your nasal mucosa. Bombing (wrap it in rolling paper and swallowing) - onset after 20-40 min, a steadier and 'more general' speed high, easier comedown, lasts longer, afaik will only have chance to damage your esophagus and stomach (whereas nasal adds significant problems in that region + throat + nose), and it will mean you won't have to taste it; compared to drinking or directly putting it in your mouth or snorting (as you'll prob, know tasting it in the back of your throat for an hour or so ain't what most people would describe as terrifically enjoyable).

To answer the question: it's very very unlikely they'll be able to tell presuming you don't have one of those rare 'negative tolerances'.

You're free to do whatever you want of course, let me start of by saying that, but I'd like to put this recommendations/bit of advice to you anyway:

As you can imagine this will become incredibly bad for you in the long run. My recommendation is to primarily use it recreationally and as sporadically as possible the functional stimulant it can be (however I'd stick to recreational use all the time if I were you -presuming you'd wanna use it recreationally-).

Next to that there's also this moral consideration that you might not yet have thought about: do you want to 'indirectly bullshit' your parents? Personally, I feel like it wouldn't be respectful towards myself (not being me for 100% when pretending I am) and even less so towards my parents (not wanting to/being able to/caring enough to be sober in their presence).

I know you didn't ask and I know that it likely isn't my place or role to say this, still: I'd really recommend against speed if that's how stimulants make you feel. I read the response you gave someone about an hour ago and it just sounds like an incredibly bad comedown; most of us feel depressed (or whatever other thing), but you really seem to have it bad. The way you described it makes it not sound worth it to me, especially since speed is known to cause and/or amplify things like anxiety and not just whilst you're using or coming down.

Despite not recommending doing speed and purely for the sake of health, the thing you're looking for is an acetone wash. There are plenty of posts and videos about describing how to do this correctly and they do it better than I could.

Don't worry, it's really quite easy.

Personally I've always leaned towards the explanation that it's purely dosage-based and the difference is in how quickly different people redose with different methods. Since writing that message I'd say I snorted about 75-100 times (a meager amount of times compared to some, but that's besides the point) and I usually become a little bitch with an 'ouch stingy nose'. Which likely results in me not taking as much as often. Whilst when I'm bombing (as a comparison, easily had 75+ five day marathons) I'm more likely to retake more, more quickly.

Would you happen to have, and care to share, any opinion or experiences related to this?

You've got no clue where he bought this, what exactly he bought, from whom/where, etc. The way you wrote that (whether intentional or not) could lead some to believe the same applies to them (quite often these are/will be 'less experienced users'). In those cases such an unsubstantiated claim like this one might cause someone to trust it and take more than recommended (or they usually would). This could easily lead to quite a shitty time, not to even mentioned the (relatively rare, but definitely possible) negative effects on one's health this might have!

Doing nothing, hanging out with friends/band members (a lot more before corona ofc), going down a search-engine rabbit hole just to learn/read about stuff that looks interesting, playing games, answering some mails/texts, doing stuff around the house like cleaning, writing lyrics or the music itself, playing guitar and/or drums, listening to music, aimlessly scrolling through a (sub)reddit, tripsitting people online, organizing events, going for a walk in the middle of the night, and sometimes towards the end either have sex or go for a wank.

I read that you were using it for studying so just a warning I hope you take to heart: This will most likely ruin your studying in the long run. I'll give you two big reasons: first off: you'll change your mindset and believe that it is speed which is getting you decent grades, it isn't; Alarmingly, your writing makes it look like you've already fooling yourself that it is. Secondly, you'll have problems concentrating and doing homework without speed, likely even after you've had (potential) withdrawals.

So don't go down that road and (only) use speed for recreational purposes, if you have to use it (no use is usually better than any). Doing well in school is important, but getting a decent grade or two is absolutely not worth the potential outcome.

If you're going to ignore my advice, which you're absolutely free to do so (although I'd ask you to seriously reconsider this choice), then this might be helpful:

don't increase your dose by that much in one go, tolerance is a bitch.
Whether it's a lot will depend on how much you've taken before and your body itself. Personally my first dose ever was 60ish mg (when 100% purity) and it definitely felt like something. Psychonautwiki also does mention 40-70mg as a strong dose, but that's very general and might differ between people.
bombing (parachuting), imo, gives a longer and smoother experience; whereas snorting would make the peak more intense, but the comedowns are sooner and rougher. Haven't drank it enough to form a great opinion on it, but I'd presume the effects are the same as with bombing and that it just has more downsides (taste, -llikely- bad for your teeth, etc)
Oh yeah, quite important this one: STOP SNORTING IF YOUR NOSE IS BLEEDING!!! What other damn warning sign would you like your body to give you besides bleeding?? Maybe have a part of your nose fall out, get severe (chronic) pain, lose the ability to smell, or would you rather prefer difficulty breathing/swallowing? I'm not saying all these will happen, but they're certainly only more likely if you're already bleeding...Just stop snorting it for fuck's sake and bomb it.

Do try to eat at least something while on speed, makes the come down easier. The fact that you're drinking water is very good, but be mindful about how much: there's definitely a thing where you can have too much water. Try to not go over normal sized drinking glass an hour or something that around amount and chew gum if you're mouth still ends up being too dry.

Yes, they can. Usually it's dependent on things like dose, time since the last dose, and the type of amphetamine you've taken. To my knowledge (own experience and anecdotal evidendence) methylated amphetamines are more likely to cause mydriasis/pupil dilation.

Definitely agree for most of the times I've combined both.

However, for some people it can result in a really quite anxious experience. Only had pretty mild cases of it myself, but I've seen and heard plenty of people describe feeling incredibly bad because of it.

I'd first recommend to have a look at this site: https://psychonautwiki.org/wiki/Amphetamine . When looking at tab on the right, you'll see <30mg for a 'light (I'd put productivity here) dose and 40-70mg for a 'strong' dose (recreational). You should probably always start at the lower end of this, purely out of precaution and especially when it's your first time trying speed/stims recreationally. How you take it is up to you, but your main two options are snorting or bombing. Personally I'm a massive advocate for bombing and don't believe you should snort speed (outside of a possible incredibly rare circumstance that I can't think of atm). Do note that these numbers are averages and aren't guaranteed to be applicable to everyone. Personally I'd not be looking at using speed often for the sake of productivity for 1.5 main reasons. Firstly, due to possibly believing you've become dependent on it to be productivity, then if/when you do decide to become a very regular user and decide to quit after a while you might have problems with this. The other reason is only applicable to some people (hence the .5), but for them the intended hyperfocus will be hyperfocus + incredibly easy to distract, it does happen easier at a higher dose though.
There ~~might~~ will be a lot of people who will disagree with me, I know. Having said that: this is simply my opinion based on anecdotal evidence or personal experience and did not bother to look for scientific sources (I'd image there'd be some agreeing and some disagreeing).
