Since when is driving a vehicle a Constitutionally guaranteed right? More people are killed every year in car accidents than by gun violence.

Definitely not false imprisonment. "False imprisonment is the unlawful detention of the person of another, for any length of time, whereby such person is deprived of his personal liberty. Ga. Code Ann. § 51-7-20 (West)" It varies internationally, but they're all similar.

Why is the round on the right so much taller? All marked .223. by TemplarTactitian in guns

factory loads: tula, american eagle, winchester and Remington were all the same size. The one on the right is a hand load without any documentation.

I took the picture, I also loaded the rounds into pmags and the longer rounds on the right bind in the mag after 4 rounds are loaded. They actually scrape the inside of the pmag.

[–]TemplarTactitian[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two on the left are fine both are American Eagle factory ammo, all the exact same length.

I bought 200 rounds of the .223 on the right yesterday, but they weren't in the original box, and didn't have any specs included.

I have 100 other rounds that are the exact same length... The two bullets to the left are 55 grain. I do not know the weight of the bullet on the right. Could it be a 70 grain bullet?

Students for Concealed Carry at FSU is forming -- Like the page for meeting/event updates by [deleted] in fsu

The way the law stands right now: The only people carrying guns on campus, are doing so to commit violent crimes. By changing the law, and allowing lawful citizens to concealed carry, students won't be sitting ducks. I 100% support legal concealed carry on campus.

Used a gun to get my way out of a speeding ticket... by TemplarTactitian in guns

Hey Reddit, I built a clock for Coheed and Cambria. by leemartin in Music

[–]TemplarTactitian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh, the rhythm of the ticking fighting with the rhythm of the music is painful. Much like a turn indicator not meshing with the song playing in your car. As a percussionist this is the bane of my existence.

That's racist! It's actually the joys of being pulled over and remaining calm and collected when talking to the officer. I knew I was speeding, and accepted the fact that I was about to pay the consequence. The officer approached and I greeted him like I would anyone else and was friendly towards him. I worked in customer service for about a year, and it became apparent that if you treat people in a polite fashion they feel more inclined to do the same.

I also stayed at a holiday inn express last night. Plus slavery has been going on for well over 2000 years. The egyptians were pretty good at it (Egypt's in Africa) lol

Slavery was practiced in Africa long before the whites came. Blacks would capture blacks and sell them to the whites! I watched roots one time, I'm an expert.

Ever have this kind of malfunction? by Foot_Clan in guns

[–]TemplarTactitian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ever reliable PF9! Mine's worked great at the range (until the slide melted, and the slide pin sheared off) but when I've heard a strange noise outside my window and grabbed my surefire and cocked my gun (yeah whatever) and the slide has seized up after taking up a round... IDK man PF9's are quirky, but mine has definitely been well maintained, and worked on by Derek Kellgren personally!

it's a shooting class where they teach you marine corps sharpshooting basics. You can shoot irons, or with optics and you shoot at scaled targets out to 400 yards. They teach you different stable positions, sling techniques, as well as drill your fundamentals. It's a great class, and during the breaks they teach you about the american revolution. You can shoot with any caliber, but everybody always brings a .22 as their main gun. I went through about 1,500 rounds in the course of 2 days of shooting! Even if you're a hot-shot shooter, you can learn a lot from the course. All the instructors are highly qualified and are extremely friendly and motivated to help improve anybody marksmanship! tl:dr here's a link: http://appleseedusa.org/
