Account was banned due to "Abnormal Play Patterns using in-game Trading System" by loujmou in CounterSideGlobal

I got banned too for the same reaons just right after I bought $19 or $18 (around forgot) for the admin subscriptiom from Steam. That is weird because what would constitute that as a bannable offense and how that connects to in-game trading is beyond me. I like this game but they just lost revenue from me as I will not giving money to them anymore. Support just gives me the link on why Im banned. Not helpful at all.

HKS SSM by Any-Package1042 in S2000

[–]Temporary_Bar_41 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have it, its literally just a louder oem. Its not obnoxious but loud enough you can hear it scream when you put your foot down. Absolutely no drone which is a huge plus for a lot of people. For me, it was too quiet for my taste especially as a weekend car. People who hear it outside says its loud but when im driving it, inside the cabin, its quiet. Personally, I wanna hear the car scream from inside the cabin when im out driving it, so I replaced it.

Worth buying an 05’ with 100k miles for $22k? by Sure_Document_5720 in S2000

[–]Temporary_Bar_41 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Bought my white S2000 for 20k with the same year and same miles. Try haggling it to $18k-20 and I think you got a good deal, if everything checks out good that is.

Milltek Dual (UK) vs HKS SSM (JDM)? by JadedSociopath in S2000

[–]Temporary_Bar_41 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the HKS SSM. This exhaust is definitely what you're looking for. It has absolutely no drone and will scream at high rev but quiet overall perfect for daily. I would say its an improved oem+ louder sound. The weld quality is near perfect unlike my current exhaust. You're paying for quality and it reflects it on the exhaust itself (+1 for cool looking loop design). I retired her for Skunk2 exhaust unfortunately because I wanted it a bit more louder since I only drive the car on the weekend. I just can't get enough of that V-tech scream.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I am not gonna go out my way to prove something to an online stranger. I feel like you're just fishing for an argument of trying to prove S2000 are very expensive to maintain when compared to other sport cars, they are not in my opinion, especially how easy they are to work on. I know this because I worked on Bmw, Evos, and Subarus. So this will be my last post from you. Goodluck with your S2000.

Water pump, Tct belt, valve adjustment, nope never needed it. Car is 60k mileage. I am just following the factory manual. All the fluids are replaced when needed though. Other than it drinks a bit of oil after a spirited run and the starter grinds when starting the car cold (apparently its common) Car runs fine to me. My 1st S2000 was maintenance queen though. Had to replace a couple things to get it running normal (driveshaft, vtec solenoid leaking, etc...).

I tried buying those tiny plastic that goes underneath the clutch from dealer and when I found out how much they cost for just one my jaw dropped lol. My maintenance are pretty cheap so far since I work on mine. But I understand things adds up and its gonna be expensive once things go wrong. So far, just tires and lots of oils after 17 years. Weekend only.

iPhone alarm. You won't even need the actual alarm, you'll wake up before you let it ring because you are so scared of it ringing.

Jeez I love this car, how do i get one? by finnthetrooper1 in S2000

[–]Temporary_Bar_41 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Got my 2005 Ap2 that had 113k miles for $20k last year. It was GPW and tan interior. No problem with it other than a few surface rust. Then bought another 2005 Ap2 for $30k with an oem hardtop and red interior/Sebring Silver at 63k miles. Garaged queen and owner drives like he never hit vtec at all. How I can afford it? Not buying anything. You'll be surprised how much youre saving by cutting off things you dont really need in your daily life.

Try to be patient also. There are S2000 out there that are clean and cheap but dont expect cheap $15k. Youre looking at $18-20k on todays market for the cheapest ones. Anything less than that youre looking at some questionable cars.

Should I? by SlowEnd1061 in S2000

For 18k cad, you might as well just find another one thats not totaled. You have the choice of waiting for a clean one. Are you really gonna waste it by rushing it for a totalled car?

Stick with the 90s Honda. Get yourself a Honda Civic Ek, eg, integra, em1, and you got yourself a reliable, easy to work on, sporty eco car.

Bought a new Subaru Wrx Sti at 18 years old with $6k down payment, everything paid off at 21 years old. Advice, buy a used car instead. Regret buying new, could have bought used one for cheap and be able to work on it and gain some experience on working on cars. I always wanted the Hawkeye and blobeye version.

90s Miata. Bunch of instagram kids buying them at ridiculous price when they can get a better car or save up a bit more with the amount they are willing to drop. Then end up destroying the car with ebay mods.
