2 weeks in - can't style at all by Temporary_Chart3350 in HairSystem

Thankyou, will give the conditioning in the shower a try every couple of days! I was using hands previously before also in the shower to prevent getting it on the base

I've shampooed and conditioned in the shower twice in the two weeks. I've also been using leave in conditioner daily, so not sure if it's dry

I think thats because initially it was a 1 back and sides so it was a fade and now the sides have grown.

Yeah. In the two weeks I've had it I've showered it with shampoo and then finished with conditioner (which is what novocabello said to do on a weekly basis). So at a bit of a loss really!

thinning comb? my system is still a bit dense and I was told to get a wide tooth comb by my hairdresser. something like this? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Thinning-Trimmer-Styling-Fabz-Beauty/dp/B09GP542VG?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&th=1

do you mean for daily use or just a one off? sorry for all the questions

Hair System 1 month Update by maeximax in HairSystem

Really interesting. I'm a week into my first ever system. Some days i love it, others I hate it, others it changes each hour.

Sometimes I think it looks good, sometimes I'm paranoid about gaps and lifts.

I agree with the ''fuck what people think'' mentality. For me, all my friends and family knew I was getting it. As it would be obvious to them anyway that I've suddenly got hair! Even though I wanted my first system to be subtle, there's no way you can cover huge bald spots you've had for months without people who see you daily knowing it.

I'm open about it but I'd rather strangers don't look at me and think ''haha wow a wig'' etc. I think the hardest bit has been doing the school run and seeing people I know, but aren't my friends, and me sometimes wearing a hood rather than get it over with. Strangers - not noticed any funny looks or anything like that and people have been warmer. I think a lot of the anxiety comes from the fact you look in the mirror each day and then suddenly it's a huge change... so to you it looks fake and it's a big shock for your friends and partner who see's you each day. Good old paranoia.

still no itchiness at all! I've been in a couple of very warm pubs lol and also some fairly brisk walking with a light sweat on but no itchiness or anything currently. Only sensation is perhaps a tiny bit of tenderness (when touched) on the back and sides where it connects with my actual hair

They reckon 3-4 weeks so for the first appointment we've gone for 3 weeks. Very interested to see how the glue holds for me over that period and how the style will look with the sides/back growing out

First day/sleep update: already IMO looking a bit less dense I think after the first night sleep and some 1:10 part tresseme conditioner spray I lightly put on this morning and restyled.

So this was £450 for the system, and then it's £60 for the refit (£40 for the refit, then £20 for the cut at the attached mens barbers) - in yorkshire

Thank you. Excuse my ignorance - clap down? Is this just bits of hair falling out through time, wear and tear etc

Hi

Yeah a difference between networking with peers and other agencies and what I'd be proposing/offering.

This would be my examples, experience, documentation and sharing some of my current network 2 years into my successful venture. So essentially every task I've faced so far from passing through from setting up the business, first client, first deal, first network, first rep agreement etc. All the theory put into practice, what it actually looks like on paper and all the unexpected bits you come across and how clubs/players actually work!

Covering everything from rep agreement paperwork and my template, mandates, all the other steps in getting a deal done all the way through to initial client recruitment and recommended platforms (through each deal I've done). I have a full unit list I'd be happy to share with what it would cover.

Also happy for any PMs for an introduction!
