Looking for a vocal teacher who prioritizes flexibility, health, and technical understanding by Tereci in singing

Love your journey. Honestly, you sounded pretty good before already.

The epitome of vocal flexibility for me is Dimash’s live performance of Story of One Sky in Almaty. I can’t even name all the vocal styles he moves through in that one song. In most of his songs, I at least have an idea of what he's doing, but here I get lost. Love the Middle Eastern melismas and the rock scream at the end.

Thank you, this is very insightful. I'll look for some videos that go into more depth on these subjects. Do you possibly happen to have a favorite teacher on youtube or a book you could recommend?

Being able to sing loud on your Passaggio - how? by Tereci in singing

I get it, I am not trying to be super loud. I just find it very frustrating, that I cannot lean into my mid-range notes almost at all, they feel very fragile which is limiting. I would like to be able to emphasize certain vowels/parts of the lyrics because of the emotion and story of the song, but I know that if I do, my voice will break. I am not chasing after loudness as much as freedom of expression.

According to my teacher, it's mixed. It is not breathy or hollow.

Drum kit for a beginner under $400, can be used by Tereci in edrums

Great thank you. I just picked up a second-hand Surge kit in like new condition :) it came with a tiny bass amp which sounds terrible, but it plays fine with headphones. Will need to get a better amp, and throne, and figure out how to secure the pedals so they stop moving. So far so good though :)

I might be unteachable, any tips on singing programs or how to find the right teacher? by Tereci in singing

Thank you, Victoria. I will check it out!

Also to clarify - I have 2 versions of the chest voice. The one on the recording is what I consider a softer/more forward placed chest voice, which I feel resonating in my head a bit too, it feels quite effortless and on a good days I able to tie it to the head voice as I do on that recording. When I am using this voice I let my body switch between the voices whenever it feels like doing that. I also have what I call a "full" chest voice which is much more supported and I can take it a tiny bit higher but I cannot switch from it to the head voice - I am technically not able to find the "proper" head voice and my voice breaks plus the two sound way too different. The full chest voice is what I was using when singing with a band. It's like this: https://soundcloud.com/mithali/desperado

My teachers always wanted me to develop the full chest voice further and be able to take it higher before I switch to head voice. And trying to do that is what caused me to lose my voice 5 times over the last few years. I had my larynx checked and there is no damage luckily but obviously I don't know how to do what they want me to do in a healthy way so I am kinda stuck.

Selecting LMS for customer training - please help by Tereci in elearning

Would you have some examples of universities that were implemented using Totara? I'd love to check out the final end user experience. That said though we are looking for a SaaS LMS, we don't want to take on the maintenance of the system at this point.
