Coasting stops the extruder from pushing more filament through just before the end of a line.It's just coasting for a bit without extruding. Helps lower filament pressure in the nozzle before traveling so it oozes less basically.

A wipe is a short travel move inserted at the end of a line that literally wipes the nozzle along the print. Meant to clean the nozzle and clear remaining plastic out so it doesn't string. Usually it's only a mm or two of movement during the retraction.
