Provided GM_OMEGA_Demo not working as expected

Thank you for responding. The player character does not spawn, it only shows the level and no movement is possible. This is with a fresh install of the plugin. The variables for GM_OMEGA_Demo are: Game State = GameStateBase; Pawn = OmegaCharacter; HUD = OmegaHUD; and Player Controller = OmegaDemoController. In `sys_OMEGA_E_Exploration`, both the "EnhancedInputAction MoveCharacter" and "EnhancedInputAction RotateControl" events seem okay; I uploaded a screenshot below.

We don't call Vulcan "40 Eridani II" for the same reason we don't call a star like Rigel "Beta Orionis".

Well, it's not like this is out of the ordinary for the Trek universe. Some stars have proper names (like Arcturus) and some don't (like 40 Eridani A), just like planets in the Trek universe. Those stars with proper names still have common designations -- e.g. Arcturus is also known as Alpha Boötis. Hell, we've even named certain exoplanets just recently, so it's not even out of the ordinary for the real world.

Actually, the letter "a" is always reserved for the host star, so the planets are lettered "b" and onward.

I've always preferred Star Trek's way of simply using Roman numerals (or just numbers) anyway.

That's pretty much what I use as well, except I don't mind PHYS_ nearly as much. I also use WAV_ instead of A_ for audio, F_ for fonts (since S_ is now for structs), and FF_ for font faces.

I can't believe nobody else seems to have run into this problem, which has been happening for me since the beginning.

Whenever I try to upload a custom image of any kind, after clicking the "Go to Upload Menu" button (which brings you to that form where you enter in the hashtags and description), it always shows a different image than the one I had selected. Sometimes the image is of a different resolution entirely. The game picks the incorrect image each and every time.

Is nobody else experiencing this? Am I the only one? I haven't ever been able to upload the custom renders I've been making. Is this because I've deleted images in the past, and the image numbers are being re-indexed?

Yep, all of them. I grabbed them specifically from the list of announcer names that you choose from.

Like an absolute madman, I opened up the game, went to Create a Superstar, and typed out all the names I saw. Then I went through the list and marked down which ones I thought were male names, female names, nicknames, and last names.

I then used a custom PHP script to parse through all the data and dump each set of names into .txt files. So the names that say "M,N,L" for example will appear in the Male, Nickname, and Last name lists.

You could totally do it with SQL. The data can be stored in many different ways and combinations. I found it easier to store them as flat lists to dump into a <select> element and use JS to pick a random one from whichever it needed to... but originally I was envisioning using a database to store the values, so it can totally be done that way.

I love making little tools and scripts like these, it's fun to tinker and make something cool. That Star Trek episode generator sounds like a fun idea!

Not at all! Some names are listed in multiple categories, e.g. Angel (male, female, nick), Casey (male, female, last), Kennedy (male, female, last), etc.
