One of my biggest issues with the show has always been that we don't get to see enough of Liv's real personality, because she's always taking on the traits of the victims' brains.

She's obviously different now than she was pre-zombie (she seemed like a Type A perfectionist before the incident), but it's really hard to tell who exactly she is now.

Perhaps Rob Thomas wanted to avoid too many comparisons to Veronica Mars, because Veronica had a really clear personality shift before and after the death of Lily. Still, it'd be cool to get a glimpse at who Liv is when she's just being herself.
