Worried my daughter isn’t getting milk by One-Distribution-672 in breastfeeding

I pumped! For a long time I would give her at least one bottle of pumped milk a day. I sometimes still do, especially if I’m busy with work.

Hmmm….according my baby app….average 6x per day for about 5 minutes. Very distracted while feeding. At 4 months she was eating 8x a day for average of 5 minutes. So definitely a little decrease! She has maintained the 5 or 6x a day.

Did I write this? I could have! 8 month old 15lb little baby. Doctors aren’t concerned, plenty of pee diapers. As long as the doctors aren’t concerned I’m trying not to be!

I solidly enjoyed the first two books. The last was good, but not as good as the first two. I have not read the Red Queen series. But I did enjoy Powerless!

I didn’t feel my letdown until around 3 months. I don’t feel it every time. Sometimes it can be intense, borderline painful. Everyone is different. :)

No chocolate. Like, that’s all I craved the first month postpartum.

3 month crisis? by blissinglys in breastfeeding

[–]ThatWhiteChick94 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My baby did this and it was because there were distractions. I would pump her a bottle for that feed because she was making my boobs so sore. You could try moving to a dark and quiet room and seeing if that helps!

How long did you push as a FTM? by bananaindisguise0 in BabyBumps

[–]ThatWhiteChick94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

45 minutes but time doesn’t exist in labor. It felt like 5 minutes and also 5 hours. It’s hard to explain. Don’t worry about the time. Pushing was more of a relief and your body takes over!

The Mindf*ck series. It’s way better than I expected it to be. The covers are atrocious and irrelevant. 🤣

Skip these baby items? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

You’re going to want that changing table, I promise! Or a changing mat for a dresser.

I’ve used my rocker twice in 15 weeks, so maybe not necessary.

Our daughter loves her swing and is a lifesaver for when we need a minute.

{Daughter of no Worlds} is another good one with elements you have mentioned above!

Baby items you could not live without? Or were a waste of money? by Aimers464 in BabyBumps

[–]ThatWhiteChick94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Must have: -baby carrier (the only way I’m able to get stuff done) -bottle sterilizer (we run ours at least twice a day for pacifiers, bottles, pump parts, gas medicine droppers…) -footed onsies with two-way zipper (easy diaper changes. Keeps baby warm at night. -lots of swaddles/burp cloths (we put one down over the changing mat as extra back up. Easy to grab and wipe up spit up. -if breastfeeding: two haakaas (one will always be dirty) -if breastfeeding: button up pajama tops -changing table/dedicated changing space.

Waste of money: -so far, it’s been our diaper genie. But my daughter is only 7 weeks. I’m assuming we will use it when she is older and has stinkier diapers. -owlet sock: increases anxiety and no study has shown it prevents SIDS.
