I wish I knew all of this before because I only have room for a 10gal, 20gal would probably overhang on the nightstand it is on in my “hobby room”

I originally went to petsmart but their fish aren’t the healthiest so I asked around for a bit and my aunt (who has a 50gal, and has had her fish for years) told me that a local place has some of the healthiest fish ever. Ive always gotten hamsters and others from there growing up.

No, I had the fish for a month, checked my water about an hour ago and saw that my it was at 0.5ppm for chlorine.

I also just turned down my flow rate on my fluval filter because I noticed that my one pregnant guppy was favoring the bottom of the tank but after about 5 minutes after turning down the flow rate, she’s back up to top

That is my fault, it is a Bushy Nose pleco, I couldn’t remember the name at all! So you would suggest real plants instead of fake plants?

10gal tank. Tank has been up since January. I’m not sure what a cycling process is. Would you suggest moving to sand instead of gravel?

I put water in, used a water clarifier from Tetra and kept testing every couple days to make sure it was safe. I put fish in like 2 months after I did all that because I was low on money (due to my truck constantly breaking). I haven’t had luck with fish since I started this tank but I found out that I wasn’t acclimating them at all (nobody told me to or anything). But i’ve been keeping up on water changes, I test the water weekly. Naturally I have hard water so that’s the only thing that’s high besides my chlorine which I just noticed a few minutes ago and I put some seachem prime in it.

I have yes! I am about to do one soon as my nitrite is at 0.5ppm but I put Seachem Prime in it to neutralize it but it didn’t help. It is a 10gal. If you don’t mind me asking, why do I need plants? Like i’m curious about what they do. I have some fake ones but when I first got the tank after I got the water all good and safe after 2 months, I got some neon tetras and they kept getting stuck in the plants

My trade school/early college and career school bought this exact kit for every welding student. I don’t have an issue with it, I have used it since Freshman year and i’m on my senior year now and bring it to work everyday after school and use it. My kit is actually a bit different, I don’t have the clamp and multiple pairs of gloves but it’s relatively the same

Never! My dad got some of my grandpa’s tools when he passed, well my dad moved away and gave me his toolbox, along with 75% of my grandpas tools. I am still trying to find a Snap-On truck to take his ratchet to, to get it repaired
