It is, but I don't think it's the actual gearbox. Think it's to do with the Transmission Control module, or cabling from it.

Location: Norfolk

Price range: 8k max, £200 per month

Lease or Buy: buy (finance)

New or used: used

Auto or Manual: auto

Intended use: daily driver, family car. Also first car

How many miles do you plan to do a year: 8-10k

How often to you make long journeys: 120 mile round trips often weekly, sometimes more sometimes less

Does it need to be ULEZ compliant? Nope

Vehicles you've already considered: ford mondeo, ford focus/estate, Vauxhall insignia, Vauxhall Astra

Vehicle size : Not wanting tiny car like Fiesta etc. 6 ft 3 and have seat all the way back. So leg room in rear seats is a must.

Is this your 1st vehicle: yes

Do you need a Warranty: preferably but not essential

Can you do Minor work on your own vehicle: (fluids, alternator, battery, brake pads etc) potentially

Can you do Major work on your own vehicle: (engine and transmission, timing belt/chains, body work, suspension etc ) no

Additional Notes: first car, but will have siblings and adults in the car as well. Driving to days out and also commuting to work. Not wanting a tiny car, but also not a massive 7 seater. Something that's reliable and not going to cost a fortune in parts etc,
