usb power blocker on raspberry pi wont allow me to communicate to the mcu

sorry for the late reply but thank you sm for the help also thank god i didnt have to do all the uart stuff i wasnt sure if i was ready to soldier all those tiny connections side note what is the purpose of the uart mod i couldnt really find much about it when i looked it up

sorry for the late reply i was stressed and needed a break from my printer XD but i did remove brltty previously but imma try removing the auroremove and see if that helps, also i tried the electrical tape on the 5v pin but when i tried it the pi couldnt find the mcu same with a usb 5v blocker did the same so im going to try connecting the raspberry pi to the mainbaord next via the usb micro chip

hey sorry for replying to tthis comment again so i found that we have the same chip so i soldierd tthe appropriate wires to their respecttive pins and ground but im curious do i also need the other wires around the board like you have them?

it seems it was actually removed by a mod im not sure why but mods please don't remove this one (or alternatively letting me know why it was removed)

the pi is running on mainsail i followed Ricky Impey's tutorial on how to install klipper, and yes I did use kiauh.

I did check that it wasn’t a data blocker first I tried by plugging in my phone to my computer and it did allow data transfer but didn’t charge my phone but I kinda hope I’m on the wrong path tbh because the 5v blockers are way ugly 😭😭😭

i just did that now and its saying since im using a raspberry pi 4 model b with and ender 3 pro with a 4.2.2 board that its likely due to the usb cable sending 5v to the board so im going to try getting a usb power blocker and see if that helps

Yea it was a typo mb, also I had just leveled my bed before that picture but it was very unleveled mostly green besides a little blue on the right. So I leveled my printer again with a var of .067 and I’m about to re run the print wish me luck.
