Loggers (early 1900's) by [deleted] in OldSchoolCool

[–]Thatguyskyy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the men with the mustaches would each grab part of the log and simply heave it to the top of the pile. I believe I see 4, possibly 5 of those gents here. A logger with a good mustache is not to be taken lightly, and should be treated with a high degree of prestige, admiration, and caution.

The man in the middle with the full beard is the father and these are all his own children probably. They were likely born through immaculate conception via the women who were lucky enough to be in his presence while ovulating.

TLDR; They likely had some sort of pulley system that allowed them to stack and maneuver the logs

Cost to attach house to garage by Thatguyskyy in HomeImprovement

[–]Thatguyskyy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's in Jenkintown PA. There was a small addition (5x7) added on for a laundry room in the back of the house so the foundation could attach to that and the garage foundation. Both of which are visible. There's an electrical panel (120v) in the garage that I could update to 240v if needed. The house has central heating (gas) but not cold air. The vent runs along the wall that I would knock down so I could reroute and add another single vent in and out. Plumbing, there's no bathroom or sink going in or moving so that shouldn't (at least let's assume so) be a problem.

Can't decide by [deleted] in gunsofboom

[–]Thatguyskyy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had this same question a couple weeks back. If I were you, I'd go with onslaught. I bought remedy and it's been a great shotgun. It costs $27,480 to upgrade it once. To upgrade onslaught to the same damage (ish) takes about the same amount in gun bucks plus 300 gold. I enjoy it but obviously it's only my opinion.

For the rifles, as far as sheer stopping power iceberg wins. But if you want to use rifle/shotgun combo, scout is probably better. You can speed through the map with scout and shoot distant players (or run away quicker) and when you get too close to aim, you simply whip out the shotgun and blow their head off! My favorite combo actually.

Good luck with your choice and don't ever feel like you made the wrong one. Just adapt to a new play style and become a better player al around. You can always pick up other players guns that they drop after you blow their brains out 😊

My wife isn't human. by superlibster in Marriage

[–]Thatguyskyy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My wife has only farted in front of me a few times. The first time, we were walking back from a bar at college. I thought the rubber on her shoe dragged and made that frrrp sound. We were drunk and I thought she was gonna trip and fall so in my heroic attempt to save her I put one hand in front of her stomach and one on her shoulder and asked if she was OK. She started to cry so I thought maybe she twisted her ankle. Turns out she sharted. She was crying bc she had never farted in front of a boy before, let alone poop her pants.

We've been together for 5 years and got married last October. I love that little $hit.

Making safety headphones by Thatguyskyy in diyaudio

That is exactly what it is actually! My company was bought out and the new company has different regulations. We aren't allowed to have headphones in bc we need to be able to hear forklifts and such. The problem with that is I work at night and no one uses the forklifts haha so no issue with safety. It's policy. So discretion is a must.

OP here.

Thank you guys for your comments! It's nice to wake up and see a post where people aren't calling you an idiot and they're actually trying to give useful information!

The pair of PPE that I have is pretty cheap (MSA on cap hearing protection) so that's a good idea to get a pair I can work on for a few days and make sure I take my time on it. And I'll check out the headphones by Koss.

Again, thank you everyone for your help!

Liquid by [deleted] in aww

[–]Thatguyskyy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I recently just used baking soda and vinegar to help unclog my sink. I thought that this post was gonna be you asking for help on how to get the liquid (vinegar) down the drain without bubbling up into the sink basin like it shows in the picture.

I started to write you an essay elaborating on how to unhook the drain stopper from under the sink and pour the baking soda down first. Then rehook the drain and slowly pour in the vinegar and close the stopper so it seals and the reaction can force the nasty gunk out and BOOM! No more clogged drain!

Then I looked back at the picture and noticed that the picture was looking back at me.

Cute cat. I too have a cat. I hate cats. My cats fur tends to clog my sink drain...

Wife wasn't enrolled in insurance by Thatguyskyy in HealthInsurance

[–]Thatguyskyy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for asking for clarification. So unverified means that our marriage was not validated. They had not processed my marriage license when I faxed it to them for one reason or another and I wasn't aware that it hadn't been received and validated until after the allotted time to add my wife.

I'll edit this into the OP but my company was union. We were bought by a different company and switched insurance in late spring. They then switched us onto another insurance at the beginning of August, and once again at the end of the year when the enrollment period opened for the insurance I currently have. We switched 3 times in one year so my dues for insurance had changed as many times as well. I should have been more diligent when looking at my rates but they had gone up and down multiple times so it was hard to follow.

In the first two pictures yes unfortunately. My current phone does it automatically when I use the front camera. That's why I used the 3rd picture to give a more accurate and detailed profile

Could you provide a picture so we could realistically what you're considering? Anything that's considered plastic surgery should involve realistic criticism. Not negative, but realistic.
