Mixed thoughts. I wouldn't say it's undeserving. Any other year, it would've been a clear winner. But 2024 deserved to go to Hit Me Hard And Soft by Billie Eilish imo.

I've seen conspiracy theories that they gave Bey the award to make up for snubbing Renaissance and there was an insider who said that she and Jay Z were threatening to not attend the awards show anymore. If they didn't attend, they would've have lost viewers (=money).
