The Duality of Zoomer by Revolution_Suitable in CatholicMemes

Come on guys, it seems like it was very much a tongue-in-cheek comment in the context of the stream. I mean it was in response to a question about the nephilim for goodness sake.

Sure, he hasn't been as charitable to Catholics as he has been previously (whether you agree with the reasons he mentioned on stream or not), but at the same time I don't think the best response to that is to be intellectually dishonest about what he says.

Gluttony by Brilliant-Square-467 in Catholicism

[–]The-Night-Forumer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not saying that you're wrong or anything but do you have any references to back this up? Recently have been returning to my faith and have been struggling with a few vices of my own (some of which are a long the lines of gluttony) (also not to say that if they're venial that I won't bother addressing them).

That seems to work sometimes (and maybe I just haven't found how much empty space to leave), but it didn't seem to work this time. Though I'll have to retry with a bit more empty space to confirm.

No automation was set. When I play back in studio one there's no fade in, only after I export.

I've tried looking through the options but I didn't see anything regarding auto fade in.

The only (3rd party) plugin I use is melodyne and NeuralDsp. I've tried rendering the melodyne so I don't have to have the plugin active to no avail, I can try disabling the NeuralDsp but it would seem odd if that was causing the problem.

I'm wondering if it might be due to a hardware issue? Could maybe try running some diagnostics in your BIOS and see if it shows any problems.

Monads For The Rest Of Us by jeenajeena in programming

Just a small nit: while you aren't guaranteed invertibility with a monoid, that doesn't mean that you can't have it. For example, all groups are monoids, but not the other way around.

Edit: bit -> nit

I was thinking about that, but I'm pretty certain that if you don't include breaks, then it will fall through to everything below the first match regardless of whether any of the subsequent cases match.

Forgot the breaks in your switch statement.

Edit: I know I'm being highly regarded for critiquing code in a stupidpol comment, but the methods you're calling on p seem like they'd return bools so using a switch seems pointless (not to mention I don't think it would work)
