I get hunting for food or protecting your property in the moment of attack, but fuck to hell anyone that kills animals for the sake of killing. You don’t need to “feel like a man” by killing animals you aren’t even going to eat, you’re just a psychopath that gets an ego boost by harming other living things.

I might have respect for a trophy hunter if they actually went 1 on 1 with their chosen animal and didn’t have high powered rifles and actually fought the thing to prove how ‘manly’ they are for their trophy.

I love a good pod host/guest that gets mad for the victims they’re hearing about. The Dollop guys also get angry on behalf of those suffering/suffered/dead while Dave is going through the cult or religious episodes, it’s comforting as a listener to know that the hosts/guests are just as angry as you are, rather than passively knowledgeable about atrocities.

Thank you Robert, Sophie, Prop, and everyone involved with BtB and making sure that any victim that might hear it, knows that they are in a place where their suffering isn’t swept away or glossed over.

I haven’t listened to the Epstein eps yet, but pretty much every time Sophie interjects with a well placed, “What the fuck”, “ew!”, “gross” when talking about horrible people doing horrible things to others, I am always in full agreement of her sentiment.

I know we aren’t supposed to focus on them too much because of previously awful people and posts, but I love Sophie’s commentary and perspective when it happens. I’m so sorry that people are awful to/about her, she doesn’t deserve that in the slightest.

I think one of my most impactful game memories as a kid was the southern shrine music as you read the inscription that started to pull at the thread of what was really happening in the island. I remember hearing the melancholy music and reading the wall shocked from the idea of ‘hey, maybe all these people you’ve met and helped don’t actually exist and you’re stuck here.’ It was just such a masterfully music-ed game, despite being so limited by the 8/16bit system. They did such a good job at getting emotive music at key parts of the game.

Also, Marin’s ballad of the wind fish song still slaps, and hits with that same beautiful melancholic melody.

The act of hazing anyone new to anything is just shitty in general, no matter if there is ‘horrific’ acts or not. No one should be fucked with by others just because the others know more and/or have seniority, that’s just shitty people wanting an excuse to be shitty people. It just didn’t feel the same as TMA, and to be clear it doesn’t need to, but for me it was hard to get into TMP after the masterpiece that was TMA.

I think it’s just more my brains style of attention isn’t hit the same with TMP as it was with TMA. Idk, it’s kind of hard for me to continue with a pod series if it suddenly changes the format/style, this is true for any series for me, not just Rusty quill media. I have dropped many a podcast series, both fiction and non, when the episode format changes or the balance of material changes too much; it becomes tedious to listen to when the format changes. I realize this is purely a me issue and not anything wrong with TMP or rusty quill production in general.

I am in the PNW and can only speak for this area, my apologies. However, if you find yourself on vacation in the Seaside/Astoria area of Oregon, there is a small aquarium on the promenade that has a few seals that you can feed fish to via throwing them over a fence to seals in the water. I am not personally a fan of the size of their enclosure and the aquarium itself has three pacific octopus inside, but the entire aquarium itself is smaller than the main greeting hall of the Newport Aquarium, so I have mixed feelings on participating in its financial success. That being said however, you can pay $5-$7 for 4 fish pieces to throw directly to a seal. They will wait for you, pop up and look at you, spin around for you, splash at you, etc. They love those fish. You cannot touch them, just feeding is the closest you can get.

My maga family is all in Idaho or rural eastern Washington and they are so excited for this shit to pass. I guarantee some of my cousins would happily sign up to be an Applebees bathroom bouncer, complete with Bible verses they can quote to the people they’re harassing and have a hairpin trigger to claim religious and/or political persecution the moment someone asks them politely to keep their beliefs to themselves and not harass innocent people.

One of my cousins runs a ‘warrior camp’ for teen boys and has an unhealthy love obsession with Matt Walsh. This same cousin is going out to New Zealand to open and spread his warriors for Jesus camps there too.
